The Bluebell is by far the best but is a cow to get to by public transport whereas the Watercress line adjoins a BR station but isn't QUITE as good - but that's NOT to say it's in any way sub-standard!

Watercress Line is longer, but Bluebell probably has more interesting locos and rolling stock. Watercress Line is easier to get to. Bluebell is all steam, Watercress has some diesels. Go on them both!

The Bluebell railway is good value for money and has more rolling stock and engines.
