I've never really followed any particular religion, I've always had my own thought about everything. For the last 5 - 10 years I've come to consider myself Gnostic because I question everything and follow science very close.

I went to a Christian school for the first 7 years of school but didn't feel that was what I wanted or believed in.

Gnostic's are intellects that feel that God is present everywhere.

My religion is classified as non-denominational.This means that I do not belong to a spiritual group that follows a set of believes or a creed. Within our group, we do have rules we follow, but this is based on compromises from the in-tire congregation. It is more like a combination of several religions.because the members are from many different religions.
I have believed this way most of my life. I attend many churches and meeting of the typical Christan religion, but never felt comterable with it.
What keeps me involved in my church is our core understanding that all of humanity are Gods children, regardless of race or religion. The best understanding of this is to read The New Testament and observe how Jesus treaded others, or study Budda teachings, or the Qurain. All believe in showing kindness and respect for all others. Just think how much better our world would be if everyone considered this to be importaint. No more starving children, no more war, no more killing. Why? Because everyone would have love and respect for every human life.
Only you can make a decision to chose what faith or religion you follow. My advce to you is to do some reserch, go to meetings( most all will acept you as a guest). talk to other members and leaders of the church. Chose with your heart, what feels right to you!
May God Bless and Keep You Safe.

I am a Christian. I was raised in a Christian family. I became a christian as a child when I accepted Christ as my personal savior. I believe that the Bible is God's perfect Word to man. It tells the where man came from, who man is, why there is evil in the world, and how we can gain paradise.

The Bible says that all men fall short of God's standard(ex, the 10 commandments). We have free will and can choose what we want to do with our lives. God offers salvation through believing that Christ, defying natural laws, was born of a virgin, lived a perfect life, and paid the price for everyone's sin entirely by dying on the cross. He further eternally defeat death when he rose from the dead. It is Christ who is the author and finisher of the Faith.

"Whoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Christianity is not blind faith. It is a reasonable religion.

Not everyone who calls themselves a christian is. Not every autrocity committed by a "christian" church is a reflection of Christ or the bible.

Christ is Exclusive.

Jesus said, "I am the way the truth and the life, no man comes to the father but by me."

Christianity is a reasonable religion. It was the faith upon which America was founded. It was the foundation for modern science. the Bible has survived countless persecutions, bans and corruptions by evil men.

Take a look at the world around you... What do you see? War, crime, hatred, etc... People in the same religion kill each other, and their leaders bless them to go to war! If you read the bible, you will learn about true Christians. Think... what group of people loves each other, where skin color and nationality doesn't matter? Which group of people doesn't go to war, because they know it is wrong to hate and kill their neighbor (Matthew 22:39)? Which group of people have unity and peacefullness within their organization? Which group of people study the bible and help others to understand it, while helpfully answering questions in kind and sincere ways? Which group of people goes out and spreads the message of the Kingdom of God as the Bible said they should do (Matthew 24:14)? Which group of people uses God's true name and glorifies it (Psalm 83:18, Isaiah 42:8)? The group of people who fulfill all of these requirements are Jehovah's Witnesses. Talk to your cousin and listen to her. She has a very important message to tell you that is being preached all over the world! It is beautiful to see hundreds and thousands of Jehovah's Witnesses when they meet for their assembies/ conventions. Everything is peaceful, their is no violence, and group members stay after to clean up the building they have used to make it even cleaner than they received it. The environment in our kingdom halls is peaceful. All visitors are greeted warmly. They are not disrespectful at all. Jehovah's Witnesses try to help people learn about the truth about God and His Kingdom. Please visit the websites below! They are very helpful. I was born with many family members who were Jehovah's Witnesses. It is everyone's personal choice if they want to become one, which is why after years of study and fulfilling the requirements for baptism, I became one. I would never go back on my decision and I love helping people learn about Jehovah God. If you have any questions about beliefs or if you are interested in studying, please approach your cousin or visit a nearby Kingdom Hall. Hope this helps!!!

Hi,
I am glad that you are seeking. I am a Christian. I consider Christianity a relationship with Christ rather than a religion.

What I like best is that through many years of bible study I know that God's Word the bible is true. It is solid like a rock. Nothing can shake me from it's foundations. God loves us so much that He sent His Son Jesus to pay the price for my sins and for yours. Believers and followers of Jesus gain eternal life with God in heaven. Jesus is the Only Way to eternal life with God in heaven.

The biggest factor in knowing the truth of Christianity, is prophecy. Jesus Christ was prophesied about over 300 times in the Old Testament. Many of those have come true already, and the rest are yet future. This is what drew me to Christianity to start with. (studying prophecy).

You will get many answers here. & you have connections with three religious belief systems. There are differences great and small with each of these religions and with what the bible teaches. (even catholicism doesn't line up with scripture).

So if I were to be able to pursuade you to chose - I would say "Chose Wisely" my dear. The God of the Bible created the universe and everything in it. His creation bears witness of Him. God has a three part nature, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Christianity is (as I see it) the only way to go.

I would strongly recommend studying the bible for yourself. Ask questions and check answers against the Word of God. If I were standing next to you and you were asking me these questions, I would hand you a bible and ask you to start reading the book of John. Then continue helping you understand the bible by giving you my contact information so you could ask questions.

Please feel free to email me as often as you'd like concerning questions about Christianity and the difference between it and other religions.

To start out Wow what a religous background you have. It must be confusing trying to find the right one!

I'm a Missionary Baptist!
I have been raised in the same church all of my life. I was saved when I was 6 and baptized and joined the church about a month later. I'm 18 now.
I love that I am saved through the blood of Jesus Christ and that I can go to him for anything I need. About my church, I love the fellowship I have with my brother's and sister's in Christ!

God Bless You, I pray that you find salvation through Christ!

Daemonolatry. I've been a Daemonolatress since 1989. Aside from the fact that I agree with the core beliefs of my religion, what I like most about Daemonolatry is the spiritual path-working. I'm constantly learning something about others, myself, and the universe around me. I'm never spiritually stagnant or bored.

I am Jewish, and have always been Jewish. The thing I like best about Judaism is what sets it apart from other religions: It is the belief that all moral people go to heaven, regardless of their religious belief or lack thereof.

Muslim, since my whole young life (20 yrs). i tried reading about other religions to see if they're more accurate than mine, but i found nothing, actually other relgions just made me more sure and certain tht my religion is right. since you have close ppl around you with different religions, why dnt u just ask their opinion? see who seems happier or live more peaceful life. ask them a question like, why are you alive! and see who gives you the answer tht attracts you most and seem to you as close as truth as should be.
