Though these days... many Americans complain that we are losing Freedoms, The USA is still the only Country in The World where you can state how you feel and think for yourself and not worry that you will be put away or executed for it.
You have a choice on how you can live your life, work where you want to work, live where you want to live etc.
You are here on Yahoo Answers and are free to ask this question. Not many other Countries will give you this opportunity.
You can search The World over and you will never find another Country that extends you Freedom like The United States Of America!

There is the freedom to "peacefully" speak out in favor of or against your elected officials without fear of retribution.
Advocating the violent overthrow of the government is "a whole 'nother matter".
Something that Americans enjoy are the Rights and Freedoms (and there is a difference between a right and a freedom) afforded us by our Constitution and Bill of Rights. Sometime, make the effort to read these documents and find out what principles our country was founded upon.
Some of the "Constitutional Rights" you may hear people declare that they have are ramblings of the poorly informed. So do yourself a favor, get informed and stay informed.

Look at the Bill of Rights, and the rest of the amendments. They will give you an Idea, but just incase, we have the right of Habeas Corpus, no ex post de facto laws, freedom of speach, expression, and religion. The right not to incriminate ourselves, the right to trial by jury, no unreasonable searches, the right not to have to house soldiers, except in time of war, the right to bear arms, and raise militias, and the right to a Republican form of government, just to name a very select few.

Well freedom in general is pretty nice. I enjoy it. We can live where ever we want. Work where ever we want. Worship whoever we want. We can basically do anything we want as long as it isn't against the law. Its pretty nice.
