If that is true, then what's the point of being on the Earth in the first place? Why not go heaven straight away?

When God created man he created us in his image, not even the angels are created in the image of God. Since then we have become the target of Satan. He doesn't want us only to keep us out of the fellowship of our Creator.

When man fell from grace God gave his commandments so we would know the exceptions. Here is where the point comes in.

Have you ever told a lie? Doesn't matter how big. What does that make you?

Have you ever stolen anything? Cost doesn't matter. What does that make you?

Jesus said that if you look upon someone with lust that you have committed adultery in your heart? Have you ever lusted for someone? What does that make you?

Jesus said that hate is the same as murder. have you ever hated anyone? What does that make you?

I just pegged all 4 and I wasn't even trying, what about you?

See one day you will have to stand before a Holy God and answer for your crimes against him. No amount of good you do in your life will ever make up for the wrongs. How will you be judged? Guilty?
Payment will have to be made and can you pay the price?
God knew that we would not be able to pay the price so Jesus did. Guiltless he took on the guilt of the world and paid the price that we might be found holy before God. Bought with a price one that we are not able to pay.

Does that me that once we believe that we sin no more, not hardly. But now my eyes are open to knowing what sin is and what a great price was paid for my crimes. I fall in to sin but I don't go out and mean to do it. My weakness gets me and then I fall but it doesn't mean that I stop trying.

It is know why the price was paid and why I can't pay the price myself. It is about faith and understanding. I do care to understand. The real question is, do you.

Jesus died for the sins of the whole world. And yes you can sin and still go to Heaven
"My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the rightous" I John 2:1
We're here because you have to accept Jesus into your life to recieve his salvation. And after you do that it is your job to go and tell others about Him so that they too can be saved!

There were two thieves sent up for crucifixion by the Roman Governor who ignored the Jews and set Christ free.

The thieves both bore crosses that identified them as "JESUS KING OF THE JEWS" since Pilate gave them the King he thought they deserved.

Yes! They both died but not for any others sins.

Christ said that if you must sin with your hand then cut it off, which was telling that he could save none but that each has got to save himself by his own effort.

Some people believe anything and think their belief will take them to Heaven, so if they get thrown into a HEAVEN with temperatures that soar above 6000 degrees celsius, they will still feel that they are definitely in HEAVEN.

If you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior and confess it, believing in your heart the Atonement & Resurrection; you are reborn spiritually.

Born again Christians will sin again, but gets convicted of God in it. So repent of your Sins to Him and He is just & faithful to forgive your sin and cleanse you from all unrighteousness.

Jesus said the first person is born of water (born of the womb), the second person is born of spirit (spiritual rebirth). It's a process. We first are born into this world (we die spiritually when we purposely rebel against God) then reborn spiritually when we repent & confess Jesus Christ Lord (with heart faith in resurrection).

Sin doesn't go to heaven. Even one sin will keep one out of heaven. There needs to be an atonement for sins. When one is born of God, the blood of Jesus washes away all ones sins. God sees the righteousness of Christ.

When one is born of God, person cannot abide in sin (make it a comfortable habit) because of the Holy Seed within.

We cannot go to heaven until we are redeemed by the blood of the Lamb of God.

Salvation requires a repentent heart- One that "sins no more" as Jesus tells us in the Bible "Believe" then he says "Go and sin no more" --with the Holy Spirit in you, once you are saved you do not have a desire to sin against God- you fall into sin at times but are convicted and know it is wrong...therefore you repent- because those who believe in Christ Jesus LOVE HIM and want to honor and obey Him. God knows the heart of every man- and there are many false conversions ( see in Luke the parable of the sower)

NO. Only if you have repented of your sins and turned away from them... STOPPED THEM. This is how we have forgivenss. Jesus didnt die so we could keep on sinning. gimmme a break. It was to give us a chance to repent and ve saved. But ony those obedient to God will be saved.
we choose our own destiny whether we pick heaven or hell. Only way to avoid Hell is by choosing GOD. Do it today, while you still have time. why should sinners be rewarded for all they do, and yet Christians go to heaven because they obey. Hardly be fair, huh??? we are on this earth to love God and lead others to Him. that simple. I pray you get to know the true God while there is still time.Jesus is coming soon Choose soon and wisely.

Well, everyone sins, so that point is moot. The point of earth experience. It is an enigma. It is said that even the angels look at us and wonder what is special. If we are created in the image of God, then maybe this time is to learn how to reflect that image and to acquire attributes....like art, music, creating out of nothing, diplomacy, love, choice, forgiveness, sacrifice....things that seperate us from animals and make us unique

The Kingdom of God is not an afterlife; it is a distinct entity to that place which is called Heaven. St Matthew, Mark and Luke make that aspect of Jesus's message clear. Closeness with God and respect for his creation are their own reward.

That is a common misconception in certain people's beliefs, specifically those who claim that "once saved, always saved."

You may have been forgiven of your past sins once you repent and ask for forgiveness from those whom you have wronged, but you are still responsible for all your actions for the rest of your life.

You must follow The Law without exception.

Peace be with you.

True... to true... there is no personal accoutability for ones own actions. Being on earth in the first place though has a purpose and a calling for each person. It is different for each and everyone of us. Religion just generalizes everything to tapioca and gravy so we don't think about it.
