I definitely think that's enough for toning your body, but if you really want to lose weight, you need to add some cardio too. Running, walking, jumping jacks, jumping rope, whatever you want to do that will raise your heart rate for 20 minutes or longer, will cause you to shed those pounds. Cutting out junk food is good too, but don't forget to also watch your portions of "healthy" food, because large quantities of any kind of food will cause weight gain.

I wouldn't do the lifting but 1 time a day. Adding cardio will definitely help. Very, Very important don't eat after 6:00 pm. Not anything. You will see weight drop just by not eating after 6:00 pm

If you are serious about losing weight, the calories
in the food you eat should be less than the
energy you use. You will have to increase your
metabolic rate now, and plan your diet carefully.
Formulate your own weight loss plan and you will
lose weight faster. More details available at

walk and run a bit, get your cardio up....
Do Atkins Induction then switch to the South Beach diet. Work out 3 times a week with weights and walk 4-5 times a week or bike or swim.

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!
Get started today!

I think you will loose weight without the running but running would also help, just cutting down on the junk and stuff will help
