If a baby dies before being baptized do they go to hell ?

I went through the answers of this Q and I was astonished about those who had a refrence from Bibil that those babies who are not babtized will go to hell because the have sin???!!!

What sort of sin they have committed?

ARE we responsible for the others mistake?? I think if you are claiming so, this is not fair from GOD.
So, I wouldn't blame Atheist for their refusal and if I were Christian I would be Atheist or find another religion.
So, my Q is right that kids who are not Baptized will go to Hell? if not at what age the are held responsible for their acts and will have sin?
Pls support your answer from Bible and not your OPINION.

Of course it's not right. It's another reason to question Christian values.

Here are some scriptures that may help:

Matt 3:5-16, Mark 1:8-10, Luke 3:7-8, John 10:40

But just know the baby will not go to Hell. There is a Bible verse that talks about the age of accountability but I do no remember exactly where it is found. I do know it says that no one will be held accountable until they are able to understand their actions and their consequences. Retarded people don't go to Hell either. In the old testament it might say something about babies being baptized as soon as they are born but, when the new testament was written the old testament's laws became null and void. There is no point in baptizing a baby right after it has been born because each and every person has to make that decision on their own. You can't have your parents make it for you, because then all the significance of the act goes away.

First of all,you have provided no reference for this verse you are talking about,so it really isn't a fair question. But here's my contribution anyway:

Deutoronomy 1.39:39 And the little ones that you said would be taken captive, your children who do not yet know good from bad—they will enter the land. I will give it to them and they will take possession of it.

Numbers 14:29 :In this desert your bodies will fall—every one of you twenty years old or more who was counted in the census and who has grumbled against me.

May I give my opinion now?I believe that people who are not mentally capable of making a conscious choice will be protected by Christ. However,I don't think that Numbers 14:29 means that people under 20 cannot accept Christ's sacrifice.

EDIT:Your statement is erroneous. Not all Christians baptize babies. It's not necessary and it doesn't mean anything. The churches that do this are usually Roman Catholic or Church of England. Some other churches do this as well, but they are in the minority. My Baptist church doesn't believe in baptizing babies.

A definition of terms would seem appropriate.
Babies are in a sinful state ...based on King David's words at Psalm 51:5.
Remember, sin is a condition, not an action.
So, babies go to hell .....BUT WAIT!!!
What is hell?
Hell is the grave ....6 feet under.
Everybody goes there at death.
Death is a state of non-existence.
Ecclesiastes 9:5,10
Even the soul dies ....Ezekial 18:4

I believe that baptism must follow a realization of sin and repentance. It is symbolic of dying and being born into a new life. A NEW life. Not the first one. A baby knows nothing about these things. They are born in sin like all, but I think that God has a place for those not responsible for their position

Babies do not go to hell, they are not held accountable until they are old enough to understand the Gospel and understand the meaning of baptisim, baptisim does not save you, it is something you do in obedience to Christ. Read the last few verses of the last chapter of Matthew. Even in the book of Acts you have to be old enough to believe and to be saved to be baptized. Also read Mark 16:16 which came first being saved or being baptized?

First off, all are born into sin, it is the sin nature passed down to all mankind through Adam.

Psa 51:5 Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin my mother conceived me.

Second, baptism does not save or bring salvation. Salvation is for the called, the elect. We do not choose God, God chooses us, not for anything we have done, but out of His divine love and grace.
I cannot answer yes nor no, all I can I do is trust in God's infinite love, mercy and grace and that He will do what is right and just.

The children are Holy to the Sanctified -

The unbelieving spouse is sanctified by their believing spouse, otherwise their children would be unclean, but now the children are holy (1 Cor.7:13-16 below).

1 Cor.7:13 And the woman which hath an husband that believeth not, and if he be pleased to dwell with her, let her not leave him.

1 Cor.7:14 For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they (the children) holy.

1 Cor.7:15 But if the unbelieving depart, let him depart. A brother or a sister is not under bondage in such [cases]: but God hath called us to peace.

1 Cor.7:16 For what knowest thou, O wife, whether thou shalt save [thy] husband? or how knowest thou, O man, whether thou shalt save [thy] wife?

Babies do not go to hell. Babtism is not a requirement to be saved into God;s kingdom. What about those persons who never had an opportunity to be Babtised. Like the evildoer on the stake next to Jesus Christ? Jesus said, "You will be with me in paradise." I doubt if he was babtised.
Many in religions who were good people in God's sight never heard of Babtism. God is a reader of hearts.

Short answer, NO. All children are innocent of sin until the age of reason...

You've been told a lie or falsehood that was fabricated by the early church [the RCC to be specific], and it is a teaching that is not biblically supported. In other words, such a doctrine is NOT found in the Bible.

Peace be with you.

no babies are born into sin but they are innocent, God will not put babie into hell because they don't know right from wrong, any child that knows right from wrong and does wrong around the age of 12 will be accountable for their sins but not before, before that age the parents are accountable
