Running in cold weather will not hurt you at all. Your lungs may not feel too good until they get used to the weather, but after a couple of weeks they will do just fine. Do not try to do too much at once. Start out at 1/2 mile and 1/2 mile walk. By the end of the week see if you can do a mile. By the end of the 2nd week 2 miles. End of 3rd week 3 miles. Run 3 or 4 times a week. Run, rest, run, rest. But you will have to watch what you eat. Keep your calories under 1500.

However, if it gets icy, you will not want to run. Too much danger of falling and injuring yourself.

Any exercise is a good way to lose weight, especially when combined with a good diet.

Running is a good and popular form of exercise. The cold will not hurt you if you are used to it. Be sure to warm up properly, such as with fast walking and then stretching. You should warm up and not mind the cold within a few minutes. Of course if this doesn't happen or you have trouble breathing, you should stop.

Any exercise that gets your heart rate up is good. Most important is that you keep on doing it, so be sure to pick something that you can enjoy.

If you are looking for a diet plan, you might try the south beach diet, or just go to http://www.usda.gov and follow their recommendations.

With 30 minutes of exercise a day and a reasonable diet, you should lose the weight you want in around 3-5 months and keep it off.

Lose 10 pounds in 2 weeks??

There are some websites on the Internet, which promise you that you are going to lose 10 pounds in every 2 weeks. If you are good in math you will find that keeping these stats in mind, 260 pounds in a year. Losing 260 pounds is the figure, which is unbelievable and unexpected.

This kind of claims are planned just to cause clients to make impulsive decisions. When you gain weight, did you gained around 50 minds in two months? Certainly not. We gain weight in weight in small parts, which add up to our weight. This keeps on increasing with time.

I think you get what I mean to say. We normally gain weight in grams like 65 gram per week. With this stat you are going to gain around 7 pounds at the end of year.

This weight is so slow that you cannot measure it weekly. But in fur years you are going to gain around 28 pounds.

So how can you expect this weight to go in few days? You are going to lose the way you have gained it. So it will take time to lose weight. So you have to start losing weight systematically. You can lose weight by developing the good eating habits in you and nutritious foods.

Well, running will burn lots of calories fast.
I don't know about if the temperature would do much change.
I would run a mile or ½ a mile once a day for 5 days in a week, then that'll really help weightloss and to maintain it, I would only run like once or twice a week.

running is good, but you can lose weight easier by reducing calorie intake.....but not too much, don't want to slow your metabolism...also do strength training, so that you will not be losing lean mass, and after you build a little muscle you will burn more calories 24 hours a day!
