God abandons those in shameful desires Romans 1:26-32

There is no justification for it.

There are those who roll out the verses about "judge not, that ye be not judged..." Leaving off the end of it: For in what manner ye judge, ye shall be judged. If a person judges righteously, they have nothing to fear.

Also, that quote "let he who is without sin..." Referred not to the pointing out of sin, but to the actual act of punishing for that sin. Jesus himself said after that account about the adulterous woman, "Go and SIN no more" Christ acknowledged her sin, and commanded her not to continue in sin.

What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet. But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin was dead. For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died. And the commandment, which was ordained to life, I found to be unto death. For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it slew me. Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.
(Romans 7:7-12)

To quote God's moral law is not to be judgmental, but to warn.

The evangelists of evolution and atheism can say what they will, but God has never been disproven, and no materialistic explanation of the creation of the universe or life will ever be sufficient to explain this universe.

There is no direct evidence that homosexuality is genetic. The argument advanced about gays being nice, could be paralleled by saying that a pedophile has a very nice personality. It does not have ANY bearing on the rightness or wrongness of homosexuality or pedophilia.

The Bible explicitly condemns homosexuality in both the old and new testaments.

As to a previous answer posing the question, "what about these other sins?" I say that we are on the losing end of a culture war, the church and Christians have neglected to stand up for righteousness, and we are reaping the consequences.

Don't worry, the moral fiber in this country is so far gone, that it is only a matter of time before "mainstream" "christ" ianity opens its arms to homosexuality, transexuals, crossdressing, and whatever other moral deviations man decides to bring to the forefront.

And just like the Roman Empire, we will fall apart from within from our moral debauchery.

God save us

Not everyone shares your religious beliefs. This is a free country where no one religion is suppose to be able to push its beliefs onto others. I am aware that there are some scriptural arguments against the interpretation of homosexuality being an abomination but I am not going to take the time to look them up for you. Do a search under "religious tolerance homosexuality" and that should give you a site. You sound like a pretty entrenched religious zealot and bigot to me though who just wants to pass judgement on others.

nicely, truthfully, hating gay human beings is effective with the God of the Bible. The Bible shows killing all gay human beings. that is ridiculous. i thought God become meant to be merciful and against killing. WTH? A Bible follower, or a"authentic" Christian, is incredibly a hateful being. It makes me ask your self WHY Christians are portrayed as ethical. even with the undeniable fact that, I think of maximum Christians do not take the Bible actually. in the event that they did, that they had be arrested for homicide and all that. i think of there are 2 the thank you to interpret the Bible. actually, and circulate around killing homosexuals, believing in a domineering, narcissistic God, through fact the Bible looks to recommend (yet a technique or the different, he keeps to be greater effective than human beings?) . or you are able to take it figuratively. Take that is message of goodwill and understanding and mercy, and have faith in a suitable, friendly God. (or you are able to interpret it as not authentic, yet that is not suitable.) people who circulate around telling human beings the thank you to stay their lives and that they're going to hell are the former. they're people who think of they're sinless. people who're taught that each physique sins and persons are equivalent are the latter.

Okay, I'll repeat this for those of you in the Red States who haven't yet figured it out yet: PEOPLE ARE BORN GAY, JUST LIKE BEING BORN LEFT-HANDED. THEY JUST NEED TO BE LEFT ALONE TO LIVE THEIR LIVES AND NOT BE BOTHERED BY IGNORANT HICKS.
If the Bible told you that people born left-handed, or with red hair, were evil, in Romans 2:24-18, or whatever, all you hillbillies would be voting for Republicans who would make marriage between red-haired people or left-handed people illegal. Keep in mind, the Bible was written over 1,500 years ago by PEOPLE who had some pretty ******-up beliefs. It wasn't written by God or even Jesus -- it was written by people. People thousands of years ago who had some out-dated beliefs, like thinking slavery was okay, or that it's peachy-keen to sell your daughter or kill your child if they disobeyed you. Try not to justify your intollerance with a religion that preached tolerance. Learn something. Take your head out of the ground. Perhaps travel to places where people are a bit more enlightened. Try meeting people who are different than you. Try having a conversation with a gay person, and see if they seem evil. I mean, what has a gay person ever done to hurt you? (Other than perhaps designing some very uncomfortable high-heeled shoes...)

Shameful desires... like wanting to go shopping for stuff you dont need, but only want? or shameful desires, like dreaming about your crush for hours, even during your church time? think about what you do before you criticize what other people do. you are totally not holy, and each person has a different relationship with their god, and each person has to answer for what they did in their lifetime. So quit beign nosy and start thinking about yourself.

I assume you feel the same way towards divorcees, drinkers, people who dont give 10% of all they earn, people who have said the lords name in vain at least once in their lives, and countless other groups of people. We are all constantly in sin, what makes you think your so much better than them? I hate how people like to pick and choose the rules in the bible that they ignore or condemn.

Love to see this one attempted to be answered. There is no justification for homosexuals. they only way to salvation is to repent of it , turn from it and allow God to give them a new heart.
God gives so much clearly on this subject. If any think they can use scripture to say that being homosexual is ok to God, they are only lying to themselves. Yes, God tells us we are all to love one another. true. We are to love a homosexual, just as anyone else in sin. But, we arent to love what they do, and God is clear on this. If they couldnt change, God will not call it sin. What changed when Jesus died, was the need to atone for our own sins, because Jesus has now shed His blodo to atone for the sins of all of mankind . He said He didnt come to abolish the law but to fullfill it. Morals laws still apply. God says not one jot or tittle of the law is to change. So, no way around this one, no matter how hard they try. the devil brings lusts and confusion, cause he wants noone to be saved. BUt its all a choice. It wouldl not be sin if they couldnt change, and many have changed. the rest just dont want to, not enuff to give up their sinful desires and pleasures. When any nation oks homosexuality and abortion, that nation will fall of its own accord. Look around us folks. How much has this place changed since these two errors were stamped as ok? Read the newspaper, watch the news, walk the streets. Is it changing for the good? I think not. Open our eyes Lord, let us see Jesus before its too late.

Maybe the adventures of Lot. Attacking a specific interpretation, no matter if you know it is right, will only get you bashed. Good luck. Be more tolerant, all of us are no better in the eyes of God.
