Hi Justaxing. To be diagnosed with panic attacks you´ve got to have 2 or more of the following symptoms:
1. Shortness of breath
2. Heart palpitations (heart pumping)
3- Feelings of getting crazy or dying
4. Tingling sensation
5. Extreme fear
Why are you getting panic attacks? Because your brain neurotrasmiters are unbalance. The spiritual explanation is that you have a spirit attached to your aura that once in a while attacks. Your body protective response systems turns on and that is why you get all these symptoms.
Medication can help with panic attacks, also breathing techniques, yoga, acupuncture, exercise. If you have a beach next to you go in the ocean, or take a sea salt bath. You are not alone. There is a lot of people around the world going through the same thing. Myself went through a year of panic attacks. Seek profesional help. Good luck. Start slow - go for a long walk, run, or get some other excersize, whatever your thing is. Use up the energy in a positive way. If that doesn't help, talk to your doctor about maybe seeing a counselor. They can help you work through it. It's a great thing to have someone listen to all your problems! Good luck.

They are caused by a chemical imbalance in your brain. Stress can be the trigger that causes it. You may never have another one but you still may want to discuss with your doctor.

There are a lot of medicines that can be used to help you so you really need to go to a good doctor or psychiatrist.
Good luck.

Because you haven't moved on away from it. It may take some time, but it will ease up. if it doesn't go away soon, you may want to contact your doctor, and get some relief that way. Sorry that you had a bad experience. Good Luck!!!!!

I used to have panic attacks...They're awful...I went to my doctor. He said they are caused by an inbalance of Seratonin in the brain. He put me on Paxil, which works great. It takes about 6 weeks to kcik in.
