Ok, so my best friend is a girl (i'm a guy) we are 15 (mature) and have known each other for 2 years. Recently-for about the last two weeks- she has been asking for hugs alot, almost every day, and keeps saying she loves me. She had never done either of these before. But the thing is, she has a boyfriend (16), so I dont know what is up with the hugging etc. all of a sudden. I like her more than a friend and I have to tell her (I will wait till she breaks up with the guy), but I want to know, why might she be getting more touchy so much so quickly? If I am walking her home she puts her arm around me, and the other day I just made the flippant comment; hey, the cat's giving me a back rub, none of ye are that nice (to a group of friends) and she said "I'd give you a back rub". I find this behaviour odd since she has a bf (she isnt like this infront of him).

She likes you. She probably does not know it yet though.
You might want to let her know that you like her, but you don't want to make her cheat on her bf. That's just not cool. You need to discuss the issue with her and let her make up her mind. Speaking from the point of view of a girl. We are wierd and when we are young; we are less decisive than when we are older. Sometimes we want things that we can't have and when we have them we don't want them anymore. I know it is crazy. I love being a girl. It keeps men and boys guessing what we will do next. I can only tell you to be honest and talk to her about how you feel. She may like having a bf that is older than her because it makes her feel more mature. But if she really likes you she will be with you and give him up.

Don't be shady, show that other guy some respect. If this girl likes you, talk to her and let her know that she needs to be available before you will get involved with her, not after. Besides, if she's willing to cheat on him, who's to say she won't cheat on you later on down the road. Cheating with someone is never a good way to start a relationship.

Well, if i did that i'd be flirting. But my best guy friend did this to me...I loved him...he didn't like me in the least! I was mad but I got over it..That is the beauty of asking! Ok, so a yes will make you happier, but a no will allow you to move on to better girls. And me and the guy are still friends so you don't have to worry about that. Tell her!

Well it seems like she likes you, I think you should tell her how you feel. But be careful couz you can ruin friendships by dating friends. Or maybe she just wants your goodie. Lol. I mean she is 15 that right about when girls hormones kick-in hardcore. But i dunno. Just because she has a bf doesn't mean she cant like you. I mean this is the year 2006 and about 87% of couples have one or both people who like or have a crush on somebody else. So go for it.

Maybe she is just very comfortable around you, which is not a bad thing. But it does sound like flirting. Don't freak out, just let things happen, if she wants more then friendship, she will lose the bf and tell you.

Maybe your friend has feelings for you and maybe you guys should talk. Since you don't have an interest in her, try sitting her down and telling her you don't feel the same way about her. Or just seperate from her as much as possible just for a little while untill she gets a clue!

She has a bf and she is wondering about what to do herself. She doesnt know if she wants you or her bf. She wants you as her bf now and she is making it obvious that she wants you to make a move. Do it and she will get rid of her bf for you.

well maybe she wants out of the relationship and the only way she can think of is to be with you. she obviously wants to be with you if she's doing all this all of a sudden.

if she says "i love you" in like.....a sweet voice.....kinda sarcastic.....it just means that she cares about u......like.........my best friend (is a guy; and im a girl) and i say i love him all the time.......i give him hugs..........and everything like that.......even sometimes...i give him a kiss.......just a friendly one tho.......it just means that you care she cares about u.....................and would hate if anything happened to u.........she might like u too........i mean "LIKE"...........she just doesnt show it around her bf.....bc she doesnt want him to break upp with her.......but......since she has him.........she cant decide between u...and her bf......bc you guyz are both nice.....sweet.....and...........hott i guess......Good Luck with ure gurl...........
