vs 4 shows that there were some in the congregation that didn't remain faithful, Those were unfaithful will have their names removed from the book of life.

Once saved always saved is not true.

Heb. 10:26,27 proved true.

It means if you survive through the apocolypse and accept Jesus as your savior(overcoming) then you will become part of the bride (white raiment) and Jesus will bear witness of you or inteceed for you in front of his father that even though you did not make it before the tribulation began like the rest of the bride, you straightened up and flew right in the end and therefore deserve grace.

Funny you should ask, I just heard a study on that a week or so ago! I think you're probably asking in regards to whether you can lose your salvation.
The pastor told us that many who believe in OSAS (once saved always saved) believe that there are 2 books being referred to in the Bible. They believe this one to be a book with the name of every person ever born in it and the other a book with the names of every person saved in it. They believe that both books will be used at the last judgement and that everyone who is not saved will be cast into Hell.
Because the Bible does not clarify any of this I don't know if it is true of not but one way or another I believe in OSAS. I John assures me of my eternal salvation!

And to me this passage gives me the assurance of the better land that is yet to come!

Anyone who overcomes the trials and tribulations in this life will be clean of sin (clothed in white raiment) and a record of his accomplishments will be kept in the "Book of Life" and Jesus will intercede for him before God the Father and all the inhabitants of Heaven.

he that overcometh... is the person who stays strong on their faith during life... clothed n white... white is the universal color of purity and spiritual cleanness... not blot out name, confess name to father... means that one would stay listed as one of the residents of heaven and jesus will tell god directly that one was pious and right in their life, and did things to honor god.

Relevant to this forum, if you can stand the heat in the kitchen, then you can do anything. If you are not moved by another's pushing and bashing, keeping a sturdy attachment to your beliefs, then you are doing ok.

He is talking to the believers who overcome the trials and tribulations in this world; who have fought the good fight for God, and who have ran their race faithfully.
Those faithfull servants will go to heaven.
