After all, we don't invite them in when we get rid of it...so why should we have them around while we put it in? Also - if I were to have a piece of cake in my hand - people would most likely say it looked delicious. Take that same piece of cake, eat it, and finally poop it out and hold it in your hand and people will say GROSS. Why the double standard?

it is natural to most people to have this feeling of not wanting to eat in fornt of another person it is just a way that we are nice to one another. I know that whenever there is someone over at my house and I am eatting somthing I always like to ask first if they want to have some and if they say no I will hold off on eating what I have untill they have left so that I do not feel as bad waching this other person with saliva driping off their lips because they really want some they just don't want to take any form you, another thing of human nature. We all want to share and have stuf shared with us.

First of all I don't understand your "logic" Do you not feel uncomfortable drinking a glass of water in front of others as well? I think you have a "hang up" or "complex" of some sort and should seek advice. After all, your "fear of eating in front of others" has to pose some problems in your everyday life. ok. Idrk. but, i hate eating in front of guys cuz if a big crumb falls from my mouth or something, then they'll cringe their eyebrows at me and I hate being judged every second! Jeez, I'm only human, here!
