If you live in dublin, go to O'Carrolls near O'Connell bridge, they have lots of stuff that foreigners love.
Maybe something of guinness or jameson, or those handmade Butlers chocolates, or Lir chocolates, they are really good.

U should go to the Barney Wollen Mills store & Kilkenny Design Centre or Avoca Store, all these are in dublin. U can get very good ideas as most of the things there are made by irish designers. Maybe some John Rocha jewel..

Avoid so called Irish cut/lead crystal glass as most of it is imported from......YES .......POLAND! Remember that anything alcholic is much cheaper in Poland and therefore the gift might seem "cheap". Craft things with " made in Ireland" on them. What about a knitted scarf....its cold in Poland. Do they still do Irish choclates

An Irish linen tablecloth/set of napkins or handcrocheted lace would be a nice one in my view, there are also really lovely handwoven scarves and shawls to be had that would go with all kinds of clothing.
