Hi, I have traveled on Greyhound all my life and you need to make your reservations at least 30 days before travel for the best deals. If you like meeting people from all walks of life then you will. If you are a people person you will enjoy your trip. If you don't want to be bothered than I suggest you find another form of travel because It is the bus and does not have a lot of space.Greyhound has improved it's service over the years. Now you get to stop at Restaurants and can buy things. At the terminals they sell food and have games and the employees are very courteous and helpful. The drivers are professional and get you there on time unless some problem occurs which I have not had to happen to often.Been riding the bus since I was 7yrs. old and now I am in my 50's so I speak from experience.

I had to travel with Greyhound form Seattle to San Fransisco about 4 years ago and I had a frightening time . All the bus depots were in terrible shapes, people on the bus were drinking beer and stuff . I could not even go to washroom without taking all my luggage with me , because it really didn't feel safe. The driver was driving very fast . I'm not a picky person , I really am not , but this trip turned out to be scary . I'm not sure if it is still the same , but make sure you find out before you take it .

I took a Greyhound from Columbus, OH to Harrisburg, PA once. I really enjoyed it. There were definitely some weirdos (especially hanging around the stations), but I talked to a few people and heard some really great stories. Bring music to listen to though....it took the bus 14 hours to travel a distance that normally took 8 by car.

Haven't used it in years but when I used to, it can be pretty interesting. Some scary passengers and most of the depots are smelly and run down here in the SW anyway. It will get you from Pint A to Point B though but would not be my first choice.

I wouldn't advise it. You can't carry any luggage, and they just go once around the track chasing a fake rabbit.
