Tennessee is absolutely beautiful. I would take the Blue Ridge Parkway for a spin, beautiful views, beautiful roads, very grand! I would check out the Smokey Mountain National Park (right next door to Gatlinburg. Maybe rent a beautiful cabin with a fireplace, snuggle in with some champagne and a whirlpool tub and me and my brand new hubby christen the place. I would take a run over to Chatanooga and take a train ride or check out the train musuem, and the lovely old scenery there. Most of all, I would take or have taken lots of pictures of everything and everywhere we went of each other as a couple. If you get a chance step up to Bristol, Tn and hit State Street and the little antique shops. State Street is Tn on one side and Va on the other. Very quaint and seet and go have a burger at the Burger Bar. Congratulations and WELCOME TO TENNESSEE!

there's this place called Ober Gatlinburg that's in Gatlinburg, TN that is just fun. It has different kinds of rides and stuff that would just be entertaining to do together. Also, if you are willing to drive about an hour, you could see the original Dolly Parton show Dixie Stampede, as well as visit Dollywood, which is a theme park for a day. Gatlinburg is such a cute place though, you may just want to spend some time, going through little shops and enjoying the smoky mountains, etc. There's a ghost tour you can do too that was definitely fun when I was there. Hope you have a magnificent marriage!!! All the Best to you!

I haven't read anyone else's answers but make sure you get a guide and take a tour. Take the sky lift and look at the beautiful Smokies. Go to "Ripley's Believe it or Not" museum. Also there is this fantasy photo place....you can be whatever you want to be....I was a knockout model with a killing body. The pictures look sooooooooo real!!!!!!!!! There is so much to do!!!!!! Hopefully you will stay in one of the cabins there. IF not, the hotels are nice!!! Gaitlinburg can get a little crowded.....so if you don't like crowds all the time, check out Pigeon Forge which is only 5 miles from Gaitlinburg. There is plenty to do on the strip! I know I'm rambling but now I want to go back.........Hopefully you have more money than I did cause it gets expensive if you really want to enjoy yourself. But, if money is limited, take many moonlit walks, and watch the sunrise over the mountains.........Priceless!!!!!

There is nothing but fun there in Gatlinburg. If you have the money get a cabin up in the mountains right near town in Gatlinburg.

My wife and I loved Gatlinburg. We did the samething. We loved the aquarium, it really is nice. There is a walk through Shark aquarium. You can watch them feed the fish. You can handle horse shoe crabs, and stingrays. If you get their at the right time, you can see the "Shades of the Past" car show and cruise in. There is literally miles and miles of classic hotrod cars, trucks and muscle cars.

Ripley's Aquarium is nice. I would rent a chalet if you don't already have a hotel. I always use
