They seem to think that none of the rest of us can get that kind of feeling through heart-felt prayer.

Every person is born with the spirit of the Lord, that is a gift the Lord has given everyone no matter what.
The Holy Ghost is available for those of us that have been confirmed and given the gift of his companionship.
I am sure other people can feel both the spirit and even those who do not have the gift of the Holy Ghost can feel his presence sometimes. Being confirmed and receiving the Holy Ghost means he will be your constant companion as long as you do not do unrighteous things he cannot be around.
But, I do firmly believe there is a different "feeling" when knowing the truth of the gospel. It is a feeling of peace, love, hope, comfort, assurance, everything wonderful. I do not doubt though, that others can have feelings of love and peace, but if they could feel the goodness of the complete gospel, they would know the difference.
Like daisy said, we do not think other religions are wrong or incorrect, we just know they are incomplete. President Hinckley once said "bring us all the good you have and we will add the rest to it" concerning the fullness of the gospel.

Actually we believe the Holy Ghost can visit everybody and that there are many truths in other religions and there's no reason for the Holy Ghost not to testify of those truths too.

Like most other folks out there who ascribe to one religion or another, we just believe we have more truths.

Thanks
