Joint pain and muscle pain are two different things. Omega 3 and Omega 6 fats are good for joint pain. So is glucosamine chondroitin.

If you have these symptoms a lot, then you really should seek medical attention. These can be symptoms of a number of underlying diseases or conditions.

Begin keeping a journal. Make a note of when you have the symptoms, what they are, how severe and how long they last. See if you see a connection between your activities and symptoms. Note what helps alleviate the symptoms. Look for patterns. Take this with you to your doctor. It will help in the detective hunt to find out what is causing this.

glucosamine and chondriton are being pushed these days for joints and for some it works. I have always just used fruit pectin. One tablespoon in six ounces of juice every morning, and my joints work just fine. Muscle pain, that takes rest and maybe some Ibuprofen.
