So with neurons, there's motor neurons and sensory neurons, some are dorsal and some are ventral, some are afferent and some are efferent, what is a good way to remember which ones are which? -Anatomy student

This helped me when i took anatomy, if you can remember these 2 words SAME DAVE, divide them like this

SA | ME
------------
DA | VE

SA = sensory afferent
ME = motor efferent
DA = dorsal
VE = ventral

In the diagram drawn above with SAME DAVE, the DA is directly below SA, so you know that sensory afferent neurons are Dorsal, the VE is directly below the ME, so you know that motor efferent neurons are Ventral, if you have any questions, email me personally!
