No I don't believe he ever loved her. You just don't wish anything to happen to those you love, whether they hurt you or not.

I know the problem she left him for is probably the same reason he is acting like a bully now. He bullied her and is still, what he did is criminal offence and your friend has a right to seek a restraining order against him, especially since he even threatened her in front of everyone who was there and had to be forcibly restrained to stop him from acting out his threat and even threatened death.

This is nothing to be taken lightly, make sure your friend realizes the danger she is in and she should go to authorities and bring witnesses to this to corraborate, and also tell her parents as you sound very young.

Threatening death is never taken lightly in any culture I would hope please try and go where this person isn't. They were not the best couples, if they fight like dogs and cats, there is only possesiveness, childish jealousy, and bullying. stay clear and take the necessary steps to defend yourself and your friend good luck.

Obviously, she broke up with him for a reason and it looks like she has more sense then her ex. Personally, his behaviour is such I wouldn't even think of taking him back. His character is showing through and none too soon. She should be careful, avoid areas he's hanging out in for a while, find some other places to be and if she happens to come across him somewhere, should should immediately remove herself to a safe area. If she were my daughter I would be concerned for her safety and his bad temper. If she is engaging in this behaviour with him, she should stop it and not inflame this unstable boy any further. I wish your friend luck and it sounds to me like she did the right thing giving him his walking papers.

I would leave him, especially if he was threatning to physically hit me. That's all I need to hear for me to leave him. Tell your best friend Good Luck
