No you won't sound silly to people in the congregation. You look so romantic and sweet to everyone and it's very romantic to write your own vows and other people won't be able to exactly remember what you said anyhow so go for it and build another great wedding day memory.
Congrats! It's been 5 years for us!

Chances are, if you are speaking from your heart-no matter what you are saying-people aren't going to be laughing at you...it is when the couple is saying their vows that the crowd usually starts crying. Let people into your lives and let them know how you really feel about each other...it will mean more in the end.

I'm sorry, whose wedding is this? Yours or theirs? When you have a wedding, you have every right to expect EVERYTHING to be the way that you and your partner want it. Otherwise, the best man is supposed to clock anyone who steps out of line. LOL! No, really, just say it and who cares what "they" do, they can stay home if they don't want to hear you say your vows to one another. Besides, I think everyone should expect that things will be romantic and sentimental at a wedding, after all, where would you expect to hear mushy, kissy kissy, slushy stuff? At a funeral parlor? Good luck!

Screw what other people will think and no, they won't laugh. This is your first day of your marriage. What better way to begin then professing your true feelings for each other?
People's normal personas tend to change at a wedding. The recognize that this is your wedding and your moment to really speak from the heart to each other. They won't laugh. Even if they do snicker a little, I promise you won't notice.

Well, anytime you spill out your emotions in front of a bunch of people, you're running the risk of sounding "slushy". But I think wedding is one of the occasions where "slushiness" is expected, and is not out of place. I'm sure your guests will think it's sweet - they won't laugh, they'll probably cry from joy!

don't worry about it - just say what you want to say. Your wedding should be aobut expressing your love for one another, and how other people preseive it should not matter. Besides, no one is going to laugh unless you start putting jokes or humorous stories into your vows.

Forget other people, it's about you two, not about them. Don't say your vows for them, say them for eachother. If people laugh or think it's silly, it will only be because they are jealous and haven't been as fortunate as you.....

My fiance and that i are doing that too. we are commencing off with taking the situation-unfastened ones you often pay attention at weddings (to ought to hold, in ailment and in well being....) yet personalizing them so as that they are extra significant to us. we are nevertheless doing them responsive-examining form by way of fact all of us be attentive to we are going to be frightened and don't desire to ought to memorize them or study them from a chew of paper. once you're doing responsive examining, merely attempt to stick with short words. we are going to the bible too for a number of the failings we ought to declare. Ruth a million:sixteen-17 and Ephesians 5. i wish that enables!
