and certina networks (abc, nbc ) allow viewing of their shows online.

Why don't you just steal videos/DVD's from your local video store? It's the same thing! Do you just expect to be allowed to take anything you want for free? CD's from a music store? Your neighbours' car, 'cos you haven't got one and want theirs? Yeah, nice!
