I think as long as you use good sense that online dating can be fine. If you do meet someone online and decide you would like to meet in person be sure that the first time you do meet is in a public place. Meet them there , drive yourself and if you enjoy the meeting then the next time can be a little more intimate in its location. Just exercise caution just as you should and would with anyone you are just beginning to date whom you know very little about.

Online dating I know nothing about. Do know that I met my fiance on line but we were not certainly dating while we chatted. We had to get to know each other by meeting face to face before we took the step to say that we were committed to a relationship. I hear a lot of people saying that they are going out with and in love with someone they met online, or even that they are chatting with a friend. Fact of life is that there are many losers and users using these services for their own hidden agenda and so the truth is often not told, by both sexes I must add. How is it possible to date, or even befriend someone that you have never met in person? Not very likely in my opinion. But enough of my ranting on about how immature some people are with this powerful machine. I did meet my fiance on a chatline and we chatted for a couple of months before she gave me her real name and phone number. We then talked for a couple of weeks on the phone before arranging to meet at a coffee shop halfway between our respected cities, we live approximately 2.5 hours away from each other. On our first date we sat by rivers edge for hours and talked about each others past, dreams, life experiences etc. After seeing each other every weekend for 2 years we decided to do something that we both swore that we'd never do again and became engaged. We are now set to marry next May 20. So I would have to answer by saying that for me it was a meeting on the Internet that got me to meet the woman of my dreams, but I do know of lots of others who would tell you of nothing but horror stories. So I guess the best advice would be to be careful with what information you share on line and to believe very little of what you are told there, as majority of time it is just BS.

It works for alot of people. As far as the danger factor goes, you can't just talk to someone a few times and then agreen to meet them..you should really get to know them over a period of time.
And btw I just checked out your 360 pic...very nice!
