The migraine association are really good. They have a quarterly magazine and a telephone helpline to help you with all types of headache. Membership is free. You can google them. They may even have an online service. I wouldn't bother with your GP, they are really unhelpful. The migraine *** will also advise you on what treaments to use and how to deal with your headaches most effectively. They will also be able to tell you about your nearest headache clinic.

hi there i would go to your GP as i had a headache for over 6 weeks then went to the doctors and nearly left to to late i had a stoke and a reptured blood vein in my head and nearly passed away so go and get it checked please i dont mean to fighten you i just get concerned when i hear or see some complaining about a headache hope you are ok

try here -- good luck -- i have had a hard time finding a good doctor in the united states -- as a word of warning if they want to run a battery of tests on you find another doctor fast.
