Since he is just six, he's probably bugging you because he craves attention. Try and dedicate 30 minutes to an hour of your day to spending time with him. let it be your special bonding time together where he has your undivided attention.
Be sure to explain to him, that after that time has elasped you will be very busy and would play with him when next you are free to do so.

remember when you were six and you were bugging people. you outgrew it and so will he. he's just looking for attention. give him some and then tell him that you have things to do and you'll try to play with him a little later. that should hold him for a LITTLE while. he just wants to know you care for him and be part of his life and at six this is the only way he knows how to do it. good luck.

Keep him busy. Remember that young children are very impressionable, and what you do today could effect him for the rest of his life. Try not to be mean or harsh, he can't help it. If his mind is active and busy, then he won't have time to get on your nerves. Try taking him to the park, give him coloring activities, educational books for his level would be great, too.

some issues to think of approximately: -Is the situation that he needs you to spend time with him or that he only likes being annoying? -Do you spend time with him and only him? -are you waiting to chat sternly without getting mad (like calm interior yet giving the visual charm of being disillusioned)?

-Put on his favortie TV show and sit him in front of it. There will be silence.
-Don't under any circumstances give him any sugar.
-If you want silence play the "quiet game" and who ever wins gets a cookie.
