the mark of the beast is not the VeriMed chip, it is the symbol (999) or in christianity (666) and can NOT possibly be a computer chip, I think that the Christians are forgetting what the Bible says and are being irational (like they always have been) Do you Agree Or Disagree?

I agree. I don't think the mark of the beast is physical at all actually. I think there is simply a spiritual message in the number. There are scholars out there who say 666 was mistranslated and the number of the beast is really 616. Quite frankly it has to do with Gematria. 616 is the number of Satan and allegedly has something to do with the 5 Books of Moses and the law on Sinai. Broken down to it's lowest values - it is the number 4 - Chesod (Mercy). I have my own idea of what that means. Just some food for thought. :)

Then again, that is assuming that:
1) The prophecy is true.
2) That the language is literal.

So, if the language is literal, then, yes, it would be a literal branding of 666 on the forehead or the hand, or possibly, a crest of a family, The Mark of the Beast.

If, however, the language is symbolic, then it could, in fact, be anything that is placed in the back of the hand, or the forehead.

Usually, this is now interpreted to mean a chip of some sort, placed in the back of the hand or the forehead, for identification to the "Great Beast", which is sometimes used to refer to a mighty computer, which will be used to monitor and control humanity.

Now, the funny thing is, knowing the humor level of the programming and computer community, I could easily see 666 being incorporated into the identification numbering system of any embedded ID chip, and the min computer system to monitor the whole thing...Which for them would be a nasty joke, BUT, oddly enough, effectively fulfilling the prophecy, eh?

Chicken or Egg?

Revelation says the mark will be the beast's mark, and that the number of the beast is 666, not that the mark itself will be 666. The reason for the number being given at all is because of the Hebrew system of numbers applying to Hebrew letters, hence the name of the beast will correspond to the Hebrew translation of 666. Nero's name translated to that, but then, quite a few names could. We'll know who he is when he shows himself, and personally, I think it will be a micro chip of some kind.

There is nothing in the bible which specifically says what the mark of the beast will be. It is a pretty good guess it's going to be an implanted computer chip of some kind....so I don't know why you're dismissing the idea.

The Mark of the Beast are folks who worship social requirements, I consider you on that. But eventually, the precise Mark of the beast is Sunday and solar worship. Ezekiel 20:12 says, “Moreover I additionally gave them My Sabbaths, to be a SIGN (Heb. Oth: “Distinguishing Mark”) among them and Me, that they could recognise that I am the LORD who sanctifies them. Ezekiel 20:20 says, “Hallow My Sabbaths, and they are going to be a SIGN among Me and also you, that you can recognise that I am the LORD your God.” In those scriptures now we have in sight the truth that the Sabbath was once to be a signal—a distinguishing mark—of 2 disorders: (a million) A signal of the sanctification that God’s men and women are to obtain, and (two) a signal of the supremacy of God over all matters. In truth Exodus 31:17 emphasizes that the Sabbath is a signal of God because the Creator endlessly: “It is a signal among Me and the youngsters of Israel endlessly; for in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, and at the 7th day He rested and was once refreshed.” Since God’s mark is His individual (the ten commandments) written within the brain of believers, and the seal or signal of the believer’s sactification—in terms of the Creator— is the Sabbath; then the mark of the Beast (the Papacy) is a corruption of God’s regulation, which additionally possesses a signal or seal of loyalty.

Well, what are you saying the Bible says? I don't think it's a computer chip that has been revealed at this point. For one thing, the mark of the beast won't be applied to people until the anti-christ is ruling.

I believe mark of the beast technology is coming but I do not believe it is the verimed chip. Although I do think that could be sort of a conditioning tool to get people used to the idea. Like the fingerprinting for school lunches thing. We are being conditioned to become a cashless society. We shall see what is next.

The veriMed chip and others like it are simply a paving block towards the mark of the beast.

The actual mark and what it will be is very much still unknown to us. We do know this, it will be required. So far we have nothing that is absolutely required of all of us everywhere to live on a day to day basis. But, it is coming and all the numbers and documents and other such things are just paving the way for the real "mark".

Well the Bible says it will be IN the right hand or IN the forehead, and with the chips in the pets they can track them down and find them the technology is there.

i agree. when a person takes the mark of the beast he/she will know exactly what he/she is doing, so it would be a computer chip or something that could make them think that what they were doing was ok.
