In a 1998 survey of more than 500 members of the National Academy of Scientists, it was found that 72% were atheists, 21% were agnostics and 7% believed in God. A very similar breakdown was found in relation to belief in an afterlife.

So lets see an atheist nation like China and the former Soviet Union and maybe Cuba. Compared to a nation like the USA, England, Italy or Canada. The answer seems fairly obvious. Remember most of the pilgrims came here for the freedom to worship God. Over time we have forgotten how and by whom our nations were founded. Obviously we have been blessed through their leadership and beliefs.

okay.

its pretty obvious that the atheist nation would be better of technologically. atheists (the ones that i know) are a science and rationally driven people. with no barriers holding us back i bet we could start cuting diseases and making unbeleiveable technologies.

now the question is will the christian nation get any of the fruits ofthe atheist nations labor.

(i say yes, of course)

i regard science as a peer review of fraud i thus am little supprised ,that a mojority of science peers holds no god
were i to delve further and divide the science into achiievers and non achievers you would find the achievers have a majority of believers ,what does statistics of science proove they begin with a theory then try to prove a theory and what are facts a colection of peer reviewed numbers ,note that even science cant agree on god ,but by peer the majority rules
those who study facts are studieing the past ,god is live in the moment ,god lives now not on paper ,study the paper where is god ,its about as relivant as saying we surveyed a group of athiests and found 7 percent of the athiest believed by past facts and deney present reality
science seeks to make gods of men ,of course a true god would reveal thier faulse gods [theory] to have feet of clay.

That doesn't really prove anything. 500 people are not a representative or significant amount. I'm an unbeliever, but I don't agree with your implications.

Hard to predict. Like apples and oranges, they would both develop and advance in technology but for different uses and purposes.
