Us and Israel?? (THE BIBLE)?

My sister in law reads the bible, it seems she dislikes the US because she thinks it was the US government who caused 9-11.

She says that in the bible it says that Russian and the US will try to destroy Israel and that is when God will Intervene. I don't know why she says Russia and the US, because she tells me it says something about Nation vs Nation and something else, and she says Nation vs Nation means US and Russia, is that true??

the bible does say that in the end times many nations will try and destroy Israel. the since the bible was written so long ago the names of these nations have changed so bible scholars are not sure witch nations will go against them. Russia is a nation that they think they have found in bible prophecy but the us is never mentioned.

Hi ..I think your sister in law is being fed some bologney from a friend of hers. Her friend is probably smoking the Wacky Tobaccy if you know what I mean...and here is why.

The bible says and I quote ..."The kings from the East will invade Israel. Well thats Russia or China or Iran etc.."

Show her a map of the earth that will help her out.

When talking her ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS make sure you get the actual passage # she is reading from.

You will find that if you ask her that she'll say..."Oh I don't have it right now or...Oh I don't remember it but I remember seeing it."

However when you press her on this she will get upset at you and say she doesn't want to talk about it anymore lol! :-)

So don't talk about the bible unless you are going to use the bible as a reference. So tell her to give you the actual scripture.

I know the bible and it does say that Israel will be invaded but by the kings from the EAST.. The EAST tell her...not THE WEST.

Now the other quote she is referring to about NATION WILL RISE AGAINST NATION...was actually said by Jesus Christ.

They asked Jesus.."When will we know when the end times will be?"

And Jesus said "Nation will rise against nation and there will be many wars and earthquakes" etc...

So to say that means Russia and USA invade Israel is dishonest and errored on your sister in laws part.

Once again, this is why you want to get scripture #'s when talking to her.

That way you can say "What scripture is that?" and soon you'll realize it was a waste of your time posting your questions here lol.

With folks like your sister, and I know her kind well...they aren't really interested in truth. They usually have been spoon fed hate for the USA and they will use anything to prop up their belief system.

Ask your sister in law who flew the planes into the twin towers. And if she finally puts her wacky tobaccy down she may...she might...be honest and admit it was terrorists.

The US has always supported Israel and as long as we have good leaders they would be wise to continue, because any nation that goes against Israel will be destroyed....those that go against Israel will be Russia, China and the Muslims and God will keep his covenent with Israel and it will not be defeated.
Do some research on Bible Prophecy, you can find some good info on most sites about Isreal and Christ...

There is nothing in The Bible that refers to the USA.... For those of The True Christian Faith it is a matter of Faith that we must support The Nation of Israel ( The Jewish Nation). That is not the political nation of Israel. But I personaly do support the political country of Israel as well.

The Nation of Israel( the jews) are God's chosen people ... and my Lord and Master is The King of The Jews... how can I be against them...

I know what she's referring to. She is talking about Ezekiel 37, 38, and 39 which talks about how the Russians and other nations from the Middle East will try to destroy the nation of Israel. However, it does not really talk about the United States attacking Israel. In fact, the Bible says that the US will try to prevent that from happening "Sheba, Dedan, the merchants of Tarshish, and all their young lions will say to you, 'Have you come to take plunder? Have you gathered your army to take booty, to carry away silver and gold?'" Ezekiel 38:13
The "young lions" it is said represent the United States, because the national animal of the British is the lion, therefore the US, Australia, South Africa, and other British colonies are young lions as well.

Please tell your sister the BIBLE is a good book but not the only good book...tell her to go to the LIBRARY to read more good books and other people studies on the matter....but if she is a fanatic...do not insist leave her alone...I do not see any possability to win, and change her way of thinking....and to feel better as a profet I can tell you the end of the world will happen around 4025...and that will be the result of 2 small nations GREECE & ITALY...because the italians then will think that the olives are eggs and start boil them...that will insalt the Greeck populations all over the world.... a war will start...this war will be the mother of all wars...and if the ITALIANS do not stop to boil the olives...the end of the world will arrive around 4025. nation against nation means a great many different countries battling each other, for example the 2 opposing groups in world wars 1 and 2. This was to be a sign of the last days.

I don't know what she's talking about. Ezekiel 38 prophecies the russians or at the very least ex-soviet states (by my guess is, it is russia) will unite with Iran, Libya, Sudan and other muslim countries in an attack on Israel, and Israel will wipe them out.

Where will the US be when this is happening? Sadly my guess is we will have been wiped out by a surprise nuclear attack which is described in Rev. 18.

I have no idea where she got that the US would help Russia against Israel, the most common interpretation is that CHINA and Russia will go against Israel.

But my dad makes me go 2 hebrew classes- I dont know y, and Russia and the US do dislike the Jews.
