I do not think that Suicide is the answer to problems, but a few years ago i was suicidal and at the time it really honestly does feel like its your only choice.
I am really sorry to hear about your aunt, but i have to think that she is probably allot happier now.
i also think just like any death you feel like you wont ever be happy again, but slowly i think you move on with your life, and that doesn't mean that you wont miss her it will just mean you wont be as unhappy all the time. i know this from personal experience, my aunt died of lung cancer 5 years ago.

squal, that is aweful! I tried when I was 14 and my boyfriend saved my life...2 full bottles of sleeping pills will do it, I would be dead right now if not for him, THANK YOU ART!
My best friend tried the same when her mom died, and she miscarried all in the same week, her husband is a freakin ***** and she would have been successful if not for the jerk, so I godda give the ******* credit for that one.
And my little brother's best friend of like years was successful in his feat, kinda. His rope broke and he strangled on the floor. Seeing him in the hospital was the hardest thing. He was alive for like 14 hours on the machines, but was already gone, ya know. His body failed even on the machines.
And I agree with you...you can never get over a suicide, successful or not. I will never understand again the darkness I was in when I tried, and I will never understand her pain. It's hard.

here's the thing psychologists have found. For most people who want to commit suicide, it's a spur of the moment temporary feeling. If they can be stopped the first time or survive, 90% of the time they won't do it again.
Quite a few suicide survivors realize while they're dying that it was the stupidest thing they ever did.

Dear "save me now". My sister commited suicide when she was 12 and I was 14. I now what you are going through with the death of your aunt. I totally agree with you that suicide is not the answer. However after many years of research and experiences I find out what is one of the causes of suicide. Many of us think that is just the person who wants to leave. However I discover that spirit can get attached to peoples auras forcing them to do things: like killing themselves. Last year I had a horrible experience. I was driving next to a river and a "force" me was "forcing" me to jump!. It was not me who wanted to do it but an external force. I realize that most of suicides are not caused by the people themselves but by spirits. I now it is hard to understand, in this material world, but I learn that there is a spiritual world parallel to this world. I am sorry for your aunt. It is important that you pray for her peace. my uncle committed suicide just this summer. The reason is crazy...
he was in a car accident when he was 19. the doctors wanted to amputate his leg, but my grandma decided not to. He lived with this bum leg for 38 years... he went to the doctors one last time due to pain, but they turned him away...
my aunt found him the next day...
I don't think that committing suicide was his 'answer' to stop the pain... i don't think that it's an 'answer' to anybodys pain... but i do know that my uncle and you aunt are somewhere...happy

Actually, people get over suicides all the time. And "time" is the key factor. Suicide is a result of mental illness, it is no different than someone dying from a heart attack or cancer. Time will heal all wounds.
