Answer questions don't ask questions. Every time u ask a question u lose points. If u don't have time to answer question in a day just come to answers and get a point. But truefully having points are not really all that great unless u want to ask questions. Because with out the points u can't ask questions. If no one asked questions what would we who like to answer have to do (HA HA.......

Answer questions with a mature and good answer. If selected best answer you will be awarded an additional 10 points and this helps to build your point total rapidly also.

Answering questions will get you two points, but if you take the time to provide good answers and not just be some jerk to get the two points, you will get selected as the "best answer" and get the 10 points. Put some thought into your answers and they will pile up quickly... It is fun to log on in the morning and see "Whoa, you've earned 51 points!"

Viewing the leadershipboard I would like to know as follows how the top
#1 managed to average 30pts per answer.
#2 managed 12.51 pts per answer
#3 is believable at 2.99 pts per answer that is doing it the normal way.

Don't ask questions that you could have found the answer to by reading the guidelines (this question cost you points.) Answer questions when you know the answer, so you have a chance at getting 10 points for a "Best Answer". Don't post questions or answers that violate the guidelines, because you'll be reported for abusing the site, and could lose your privileges entirely.

Well, I would say that you should start answering ALOT of questions. But put some effort into it. Type a paragraph here and there rather than one sentence or one word. This isn't a competition. I feel that Yahoo Answers was created as somewhat of a free marketplace of ideas.
