Anorexia isn't about how much you weigh. Anorexia is a mental illness so being scared about being overweight and not eating is an indication that something is wrong. You sound a little underweight. I would suggest talking to your doctor or school nurse or a school counselor. If you're worried about being anorexic that's reason to at least investigate. The brittle hair and nails sound like a nutritional deficiency that could be caused by not eating enough.

I only weighed 98 at 15 but I was generally healthy..Sounds to me like you do have a problem starting and you had better get help before it's too late! Anorexia will kill you and if you wait too long for help you will have other health issues as well...GO TO THE DR.
or try a counselor at school ....

All the symptoms add up to vitamin and mineral deficiencies and that in itself is bad...

Yes, and it is servere. If you had the mind to ask this question I think you already knew the answer. And since you have all those facts, you must already be looking into it. And it really hurts to hear when people who are obviously skinny say they are obese... do you know the definition of obese? Being obese means that you are so FAT that it is affecting your health, obviously being too skinny is affecting yours. START EATING or see a doctor. It isn't healthy, and believe me guys want a girl that they can hold, they don't want to have to hug themselves... if you get my drift!

You just mentioned all of the side effects of anorexia.
Many of the symptoms you described are coused by a lack of nutrition.
You need to go see your doctor as well as start to eat. Even if you don't feel like eating.

For your height, a healthy weight is from 90-130 lbs. What i dont understand is that u say when u bend down your ribs show, yet you claim to be obese. get help.

Sounds like the regular changes that the body goes through at your age. Your appetite is going to change, and just because you can see your ribs when you bend down doesn't mean anything. You can see mine when you bend down, too, and I'm 21, 5'3, and I weigh 120 lbs. Your weight sounds pretty good to me. But if you're that worried, talk to your parents/guardians or some other mature adult. But it sounds like you just have the teenaged blues to me.

you are awfully skinny for your height....do you find yourself making yourself throw up when you eat.....i think you need to speak to your parents or a therapist. your body may be very deficient and it appears that your outlook on yourself seems a little hazy.....help yourself by letting the poeple you love know how you are feeling/thinking

you should definitely go to the doctor and tell him about your symptoms to make sure you don't have any diseases that are causing these symptoms and if not then he could diagnose you with anorexia and you can seek treatment. being skinny isn't everything...

You're certainly not obese, but sound like you are run down. Get to the Doctor and tell him all this.
