why do christians get upset about inbreeding since there is so much of it that goes on in the bible (Adam and Eve then Noah and his family). Does God have a commandment against inbreeding ? and if so did he break his own commandment ?

God is God, God can do anything he,she, or it dang well pleases. Otherwise God wouldn't be God.

Inbreeding isn't as bad as you think, there isn't too many things wrong about it. Unless you consider that its also incest from a different perspective.

Also, if you were a dog or cat, mouse or bird, its hardly an issue - because they are lower intelligence life forms.

But if you were a human, then you might like to consider that inbreeding only ensures the likelyhood of birth defects in your children, if you don't care about those little issues, don't worry about it.

cheers babe

In the beginning humans were perfect. Adam and Eve had no genetic flaws and neither did the really early humans. However, as time went on different diseases came into being from genetic mutations, which is why in the Torah in the books of law, God says that humans should stop interbreeding, because by the time of the Exodus the disease processes within human genes was so much so that if a person married a family member, the bad genes would be compiled and doubled, causing birth defects. Hope this helps.

Back in Bible times - it was pretty prevalent as the earth was not populated much - not enough people to go around. As for nowadays - society says it is wrong and it is - sinful. Different times and customs.
