Is this political or religious. If political and you know that the votes have been all counted and recounted, Concede the race with grace and congratulate your victor.

I would say fighting a battle.
I wouldn't concede to anyone's beliefs, only my own. If I fight, at least if I do go down, I'm doing it on my own terms and my own opinions and non-beliefs.
However, I don't feel (if this is indeed what you are implying), that you have to do either. I think that everyone of every religion or non-religion can just respect others regardless of their views on the world. Why do people have to believe or not believe the same way as you?
Our great country was founded on the freedom from religious persecution. Why would we want to go against that? We should be able to have the freedom of religion, and REALLY MEAN IT! Saying we do in one breath, then having people condemn, or speak negatively of you because of what you believe or not believe is NOT A FREEDOM!
I refuse to wear a scarlet letter on my shirt because I choose not to believe the "majority". I feel that if you are a true religious person, you will let me live, free of conceding or battles.

I did concede one battle...the battle that I could be happy by doing things my way. I turned it over to my LORD and I have been happy ever since. If I keep my eyes on Jesus and follow HIS will, I will never fight a losing battle because the battle belongs to the LORD...and HE NEVER loses. Oh it may appear to be for a time. I am sure that every demon that will be in hell someday was having a party 2,000 years ago when the LORD of GLORY hung on a cross. I am sure they mocked HIM saying...he's dead he'd dead...we won! This party went on for 3 days.,.BUT THEN....came the morning and darkness was turned to day as the stone was rolled away and they knew JESUS was ALIVE!
Since then, demons can only intimidate GOD's kids because they have no power we do not allow them to have. It is my intention that with the LORD'S help I will not concede an inch to them.

Concede if I was wrong and knew it. Fight a losing battle if I were fighting for what is right.

Depends on the situation. Sometimes fighting a losing battle serves a greater good. Sometimes not.

With a lover I'll usually concede. With a supervisor I'll fight for what I believe.

really depends on what i'm fighting for. if it is for God, humans or animals, then yes, it is worth fighting a losing battle.

If it's nothing but a pointless frickin' waste of time with no discernable outcome, I'll choose none of the above.
Why? Because I have the ability to choose from MORE than the options you give me. It's a wonderful thing.
