Science without religion is lame, religion without science is blind.
Albert Einstein
I have always used science to help understand religion and religion to help understand science.

There are scientists that refuse to accept religion as anything other than myths and wishful thinking. More and more evidence has come to the forefront about certain things that have happened in the old testament. An example of this is that there has been a site discovered by the Red Sea that could have housed the horses that pulled the chariots driven by Pharaoh to chase down the Jews and take them back. Archaeology is finally catching up with old testament truths:)!

Often people seem blind and one-sided in this argument, not realizing that there are other areas of science besides Evolution. In those areas the Bible agrees with and was written well in advance of the scientific discovery. Example: quarantine for those with infectious disease as well as the knowledge that the Earth is a sphere and hangs on nothing. Those are just 2 examples of many. So it is incorrect to say that the Bible for example, contradicts science. When it deals with scientific matters it is quite accurate.

Nope.... God tells us that any knowledgte (science) that opposed what He tells us is not truth. it is false and we are to reject it. God made this whole thing and He writes the rules, whether a person likes it or not.
God doesnt contradict science, it is often science that contradicts God. 1 Tim 6:20 if science ( knowledge ) is contrary to God, it is false and we are to reject it. There you go. So you have books that talk of the big bang. God had nothing to do with those books. YOu can beleive in science and your Christian faith, as long as science does not oppose what God says. thats how we know. There are those that say we come from monkeys too, does that make it all real. Some think it is ok to kill unborn babies, does that make it right.? NO. It doesnt matter what anyone thinks, even me.. It just matters what God thinks.

Aside from Muslims, there are also other religions that do not contradict so much to the scientific facts. Those religions that could hardly accept it are still subjected to miraculous or magcial capability of the God they believe in. Oftentimes forgetting the gift of God in the minds of our Doctors, Scientists, Lawmakers, Builders, Inventors and many other professionals. Religion is also a science if you will make a thorough analysis of it.

You can believe in science and religon I belive 100% in Science and I am very religous I am a devout Satanist so I have both religon and science but otherwise no The churches have made themselves very rich and powerful for a very long time and to confirm that science is genuine many people would relise as I have that the major religons are man made falsehoods and the whole game is making people believe with one hand and getting rich with the other hand.

Be careful with statistics like the 99% of scientists aren't religeous. Not true! I believe that as science gets better, it will come right alongside what God has revealed. Think of past scientific beliefs - no such thing as germs, the earth was the center of the universe, your personality could be told by the bumps on your head. Don't worry. God won't be mocked. We'll eventually see that He told us the Truth all along in His book.

Good question. I think most people think this because they believe science to answer questions that they think religion can't answer.
When in fact , true science and true religion don't contradict each other but are complimentary. Religion doesn't need to answer how many atoms are in a water molecule, and science can't answer things like where God comes from

It depends on your religious beliefs. Creationists believe that the book of Genesis is a literal record of how life began and how the universe formed. Our current scientific knowledge tells us this can't be so, so in this instance there is a conflict between science and religion. I don't think there necessarily has to be a conflict, I think you can believe in religion and science, just depends on your religious beliefs.
