People that I meet and other co-workers give me compliments about how smooth my skin is and no pimples or anything and they ask what I do with it. I tell them I don't do anything with it. I don't put moisturizers or any of those things, I don't even know what they are. But anyways, they think I am lying and don't want to tell them the "secret".

I told them what I do anyway, that every morning and every night, I just wash my face with water with no soap and use a towel to wipe the water off. That's about it.

They probably don't believe you because so many people spend hours each week popping zits (which is bad btw), scrubbing pores, pealing off masks and just plain throwing everything that promises clearer skin onto their faces. You are one of the sacred few who has been blessed with amazing skin (believe me, I'd pay anything for it). In a way, it is just plain jealousy, and when they compliment you... smile, you are the only one who needs to know the truth, you don't need to make up excuses for those 'non-believers'.

Honestly, people are SO convinced that there is some "miracle in a bottle" that they will insist that must be the answer no matter what. The cosmetics industry really created this situation by putting ridiculous claims on packaging and in ads that say the product will "take years off your life" or repair things that it could never repair and all the other promises that are never possible at all.

It's just genetics and potentially diet. But no one believes this, since they think expensive products are the only way to survive in this world.

you are lucky to have such skin. many people spend a lot money to buy such products, and still not getting the desired effects. so they are jealous, and want to know your beauty secret/ regime(like what products you use) , so that they can follow the same regime to look good. But if you tell them there is no secret products behind it (it irritates them) they are thinking you are lieing.( But they should realize that one can't change the entire look of their skin by using some products, its just genitical). and if you think they don't trust you then ignore them.

OMGOSH!!! The same thing happens with me! When I was younger that happened! My sister was pissed cause she got pimples and I didn't.

My cousin had the same thing...however when he got older he got pimples and stuff and everyone was like, "what happened?"

LOL!

But people are just going to keep asking you. It might stop, it might not. I don't know. :)

One thing I noticed is that when I eat/drink too much sugar I get small random bumps, not pimples. Then I'll stop eating so much sugar and start drinking water and it clears right up!

What can I say? We're just natural beauties!

Good for you--you're lucky! People always ask me the color of my lipstick--trouble is, I don't wear any. In fact, at my bridal shower, we played that game where I (the bride) left the room and the guests had to describe my clothes, makeup, etc. EVERY guest except my mom, who knows better, thought I had on lip color and they jokingly made me prove I wasn't by wiping my lips with a tissue and showing them.

I believe you, I'm the same way. I had an Estee Lauder exec tell me how nice my skin was. I was like, "so offer me a job", but it didn't happen! Oh well, at least I don't have to spend $ on much make up.

They are just jealous...I believe you...because I am the same way. Don't worry about it, you know the truth and that is all that matters. You can't please everyone, and not everyone is going to believe you all the time. If they keep giving you crap about it, just ignore them, they are the ones that are going to look like a**holes.
