Leave it alone!! Unless it hurts her, don't mess with it. It's the bodys natural production, and she just makes a lot of it.

I read that you should heat a few drops of olive oil and put this in the infected ear. Do this about 3-4 times a day for 5-7 days. If the problem is hard wax in the ear, the olive oil will break it down and it will naturally come out on its own.
Do not clean the ear's with cotton buds. Just pushes wax further into ear.
If unsure, see the doctor.

I used to do medical transcription for a really good ear, throat and nose specialist. He always recommended mineral oil - you can use it a couple of times a week. Won't hurt anything and usually loosens the wax and it simply runs out. You might want to do it at night and cover the pillow with a towel so the wax won't soil the pillow case. And don't EVER use a q-tip near the ear. It's too easy to cause damage with a q-tip.

Some children seem to develop a lot of ear wax. Go to your pediatrician or family doctor and they have a device that will "wash" the ear wax a way safely.

get an ear syringe from the drug store, and debrox drops, put the ear drops in every night for three nights, then use the ear syringe to flush the ear with warm water. The syringes are made so you cannot damage the ear with too much water pressure, they look like rubber light bulbs, and the debrox drops will soften the wax and make it easy to flush out. If unsuccessful, time to let the doctor have a go.

e z home remedy...pour a little peroxide in and let it bubble. when it stops, turn the baby's head over and let it drain out. it will loosen the wax. you can remove what it loosens with a tissue or q-tip in the outer part of the ear. it is painless, cheap and easy with no harmful effects or damage. i've been doing it for 25 yrs on my kids after my pediatrician recommended it. try it, it works!

olive oil ... my husband recently has had his ear completley blocked with wax so much he couldn't hear through it ! The doctors wouldn't syringe it but told him to put 2 tiny little drops of olive oil in for 2 weeks morning and night, after just 2 days it worked and his hearing was back to normal. Dont prod around with anything in there like cotton buds etc. you can do serious damage, remember if its bigger than your elbow dont stick it in your ear !!
Hope this helps. xxx
