Of course this does not make you a bad person. A bad person is someone who physically, emotionally or spiritually hurts others. If he thinks he is too old then he probably is! I had a big crush on a guy 5 years older than me when I was 15 and he said the same thing!! We ended up just being friends and I learned a lot. Now many years later, I am very glad I did not date him. When you are in your teens 5 years older is a lot older!!!!! In your 20's or 30's it is not as big a gap. Please wait, you do not need any man to be complete, work on you, your self-esteem and career plans first! Love will come to you if you are patient and wait and please do not settle for second best!!!!!

It does not make you a bad person....but if he thinks you are much too young. He's probably right. I made the mistake once of continuing on with a girl that I thought was too young. But, my hormones were doing my thinking, because she was totally hot...but in my professional career....she was a bit of an embarrassment...I truely loved the girl....but, finally i had to choose between a roof over my head or great sex.....sorry don't like sleeping in the park

Yes, like others already said it depends on how hold you are and how old he is.
For instance, if you're 14 and he's 17, i don't think it's bad, but if you are like 15 or 16 and he's 25, that might really be a problem.
My hubby is 13 years older than me, but i'm over 18 so it doesn't matter.

I don't know how old you are or how old is this person you like. But you can't control your feelings, no that doesn't make you a bad person. If he already told you that your are too young for him then leave things just the way they are. Let time passed by and maybe your feelings will change.

You are not a bad person just cause you like someone who is older.. You just may be too young for him.. It is a personal preference of his.

It depends on your age, but if you're both adults age doesn't mean anything its just a number. The guy that I like is 11 years older than me but that's not going to stop me from giving it a try because I really like him.

No it does not i used to think that to because my man is 30 and I'm 19 but know we are married and have a son, and i could never love anyone more than him.

Maybe it's just his way to tell you he doesn't want a relationship with YOU, without hurting you.
