A week is not long enough to see results. You need to carry on and keep enjoying your new lifestyle. It has taken years to put on the weight so at least give it a few months to take it off again. I think they say to aim for a pound a week to be healthy. Also remember that muscle weighs more than fat so be prepared for some weeks to go up again and don't get discouraged, keep going.

First, you won't lose weight that fast. Increase the walking speed and if you are weight lifting then the fat will be burned off but replaced by a little muscle. A little muscle will weigh as much as alot of fat. Make sure you are getting plenty of sleep too. If you keep walking at a good hard pace everyday and eat good food, no soda/pop, drink lots of water and lift weights, and sleep well, then you will see a drop in a few weeks and over a few months you will see a much bigger change in your weight and body. Good luck and the most important thing is to stick with the program you chose, don't give up and don't bounce from program to program.

lol at the start, this shows you have a loss of information while it comprises exercising. Take this with effectual criticism. foodstuff plan pills are scam! all of them! and that they easily boost weight. yet once you're fortunate you ought to get a type that purely makes you crap all day. those do artwork, yet who has the capability to crap all day??? one million. consume much less energy (seek for calorie intake on google) it particularly is a chart cases that via .20 = it particularly is how lots you ought to consume 2. Run 4x a week or jog. this must be an hour or much less. and that's it It takes time to drop some pounds. a minimum of 6-year. recover from it!

I read an article on the web site listed below and this may help you understand the physiology of the body/exercise etc. I have found the content to be true. I am lucky because I found a local person running classes and I don't have to run around madly to gyms and wrangle with weights anymore to keep fit, but do it with building core strength through yoga/pilates. This kick started my metabolism and as muscle builds, fat goes. The focus is actually BUILDING muscle rather than LOSING weight. My program includes working with a band (as good as any weights) and fit ball as well as the lengthening and strengthening exercises. I did cut out from my diet as much processed food as possible. The program I do maintains bone density, builds muscle and keeps both mind and body healthy. Good luck!!

im a personal trainner at a very well known gym in the Uk. its not always down to dieting keep up the exercise and make sure u eat breakfast! try to eat 3 meals a day and by meals i mean breakfast, lunch (nothing to heavy) and a good evening meal if u feel like a snack try fruit its always best. as for seing signs within a week not everyone cann see the signs so early try not to weigh yourself to often also combine exercise with toning exercises such as sit ups and press ups. if u need any advise feel free to email me or even need a diet analysis done im more than willing to send out some free advise for those that need it. n im sure the guys who i work with would also be pleased to help Mail : chatterbox22_uk @hotmail.co.uk
Its also important when dieting to diet for 6 days and have 1 normal day as this helps kick start your metabolic rate! when dieting it alters having one normal day a week (not always the same day) has been proven to help kick start your met rate.

get rid of the scales.
take your body measurements.
Thighs, calves, waist hips etc....
Keep up with the exercise and watch your body shape change.
Then as you become more aware of this you can work on the areas that you really want to correct.
If you do not notice any changes in next week then take a look at your food intake..you may just be burning up the excesses and not what you are already carrying.
I lost two inches all around doing what you are doing...in six months...I ate really well too...

You are probably converting fat to muscle which weighs more. Concentrate on getting fit and keep calorific intake to under 2000 (for women) and 2500 (for men) per day. Don't diet for two long as your metabolism gets used to the lower calorific intake. Diet for a couple of weeks - eat normally for a week and then diet again.
Incidentally, you might want to check if you have water retention - herbal diuretics are good. Also, try laxatives for a few days to clear out the colon. Detox if you can stand it!
Good luck.

did you measure yourself before you started? Like hips, thighs, upper arms? I suspect you are building muscle, and muscle weighs more than fat, but takes up less room, so as you lose the fat and build muscle, your weight remains stable, but your size begins to shrink. Measure yourself in those areas, and re-measure in another two weeks. Keep it up, once you are in as good a shape as your body can be, the weight will start to drop as you lose the rest of the fat. You are doing well, keep it up. Keep your calories at 1200 in 24 hours, if you eat less than that and exercise alot, the body will actually try to conserve fat and start burning muscle tissue. If you want to eat less than 1200 calories a day, then cut back on the exercising.

If you're exercising you're fat is turning to muscle and muscle tone is heavier than fat. So even though you may not see the results on the scale, you will get smaller, more trim, and in better shape. Sometimes it takes a while, a week or two for the results to show.

Give your body time to adjust and as well as drinking plenty of water,as daft as it may sound make sure you are eating enough. If you don't your body thinks it is being starved and you end up with a slower metabolic rate to conserve energy.Eat small but regular meals and try to exercise so you are puffing(not gasping tho!) good luck and stick with it.
