If you are lifting to bulk up, at least 24 hours but no more than 48 per muscle group. And try to take the heaviest weight that you can lift with perfect form 10 times and use that to work out to bulk. So for example, say you can bench press 190 ten times. Then do that for one set of ten then move on to the next exercise. I am currently using this technique along with 100% Whey protein, Mass XXX weight gainer, and also NO2 platinum hemodilator (All can be purchased at GNC). I have gained about 10 lbs in lean muscle mass in a little over 3 weeks. But once the NO2 gets into your system and starts doing its work, the pump will be better and the results will knock your socks off, and it's all natural, even good for you.

P.S. Many reps will tone, not build bulk. Heavier weight less reps builds bulk.

According to a report done NASA it was published in Menes Health a couple months ago the best thing to do to bulk up is start doing total body workouts 3 a week. Like Monday, Wednesday, Friday. do not lift weights at all on the days between, and dint lift Saturday or Sunday. NASA used this to get the astronauts on the space station in the best shape because the non gravity of space induce severe atrophy

To bulk up, do many reps every other day. That is all the time your muscles need to be ready for more.
For strength training after you reach your desired mass, change to 3 sets of 8 reps every other day, and work as much weight as you can without strain.

When you work out you tear your muscles, and when they heal they become larger. Every other day is what I have heard from my personal trainer, a day to do it and then a day to heal. However, you should never work out if you are still sore, even if it is 2 days after etc.. in case of torn muscles etc... Good Luck :)

1 day. If you over work the muscles and it sounds crazy but they don't get as big. The only muscles that you can work daily without hurting or ripping them is the abs (stomach).
Looking good baby!
