I'm a very shy person, inexperienced, and don’t know how to approach a girl, and not make a fool of myself. Could you help me, please?

This isn't an answer but I just want to say that if you think girls don't notice shy boys your wrong.
I bet there have been a heap of girls who have thought you were just the most dreamy thing ever and spent ages trying to figure out a way of getting close to you.
I think if your not a girl yourself it's hard to believe that but it's true and there's a good reason why...
it's because the louder men who need to prove themselves, and in the end they come off as being frankly quite 'gay'.
Where as shy guys have got the whole mystery thing going for them and under that they have more substance and that substance is what makes a man a man.
There is nothing in this world like a guy who can treat those around him well, is kind, honest, sensitive and completly comfortable in his own skin (and lets not forget loving).
If that doesn't cheer you up then just remember this, the 'big macho guys' are always the ones to cry like babies.
I dates alot of them and as soon as they started balling I sent them back to their mums and ended up marring the sweet shy one (who is far better in bed than all the rest put together).

You approach her the same way you do anyone else.
Almost everyone is shy when it comes to approaching someone of the opposite sex, it's just that some people hide it better than others.
If you are interested in a girl go up to her and say hi then tell her your name. Ask her if she wants to go somewhere for a soda or something you want to do. After a few times it will get easier.

I could give you the whole speech about being confident etc...
But no..
Just some general pointers that have worked for me...
Be yourself, don't try to be someone or something that you're not. Don't be afraid, really, they don't bite. Just get in there, introduce yourself and get to know them. The only way to get experience is to get in there and play the game! They say you learn from your mistakes. Sometimes you'll look like a fool. It happens to the best of us. Just shrug it off and keep going. Learn by doing. You don't always need a game plan. Just get in there!

If it's a girl in a class you have, you could always make a comment about the teacher or ask a question about a problem you need help figuring out in the class. If you know that a specific girl likes a certain movie or music group, talk to her about it! We don't bite and most people like it when another person takes an interest in ourselves. ;)

Try to get a group of people together to hang out at a football game or something like that. Have some of your guy friends invite some girls and just be yourself. Don't over extend yourself, just include yourself in the conversations that are going on. If one of the girls is in a class with you, talk about the teacher or subject and go from there. It's no exact science to it, just be yourself.

Being dressed good and smelling good always works it gives you more confidence having a good friend with you also works, attend functions where you know there will be a lot of single women after a while you will build up courage to approach a girl that has caught your eye.

Probably you should try being friendly to the girls u r interested in at first (don't try hitting on them immediately). Once u r on a friendly page with them u'll feel more comfortable, they'll get to know u and u them and then u see how u want to proceed...

It's not easy, but try to get over the self doubt. Talking to her might not be as difficult as you are thinking it will be; you may just find you have a lot of things in common.
