I am a teenager and I don't know if I have some type of problem. I have big anger problems and I snap if anyone even tries to say hi to me if I'm mad. I get hyper sometimes and then I get really calm and in a way, depressed. I also feel like being lonely in life. I like girls, but I just feel like I never want to be in a relationship with one. I don't know why. I have a good home and friends and no one I'm angered at. I just have periods where it seems like I get mad for no reason. Why is this?

I know all my friends tell me to calm down when I get mad, because when I get mad, it's for a long time.

Steve,

You might have a chemical inbalance in your brain (just like Moriahho below), perhaps due to genetics or environmental. Is there a history of depression or rage in your families' past? Grandparent or immediate family?

There might be some medication avialable for you. But I would strongly recommend speaking with a psychologist in order to determine if you are a danger to yourself. I.e. suicide etc...! They will be the best people to help you, not us..!

Good luck!

Source of your problems and the solutions:

Anger comes from not accepting negative circumstances. Start going along with life, whatsoever happens. If you still have anger, bring full awareness to focus on it... this transforms it into compassion.

Loneliness is felt when we long to be with another. Learn to love your own company. It's not odd to prefer no relationship, there are plenty of people who like to be alone...

true aloneness feels good.

You may want to speak to a mental health professional. I was diagnosed with Bipolar disorder three years ago, because I had those same feelings. It is not a big issue, yet; but could soon become a major headache for you and those you care about.
Think about it, will ya?

All you need is to know God who loves you and you are precious to Him.

In the Beginning God created heavens and earth.
God gives you air to breathe and sunshine to enjoy.
God gives you water to drink and food to eat.
God gives you a wonderful body and sound mind, to live.
God loves you, and you are precious to Him.
Son of God died on the Cross to save us from condemnation.
Jesus’ love is boundless and everlasting.
We have the hope of Heaven through Jesus.
Life therefore has fantastic and glorious future!
(Digestion of above can even prevent depression and suicidal thoughts.)

You need to see your doc about depression and mood swings. All these symptons can be related to depression. Depression can be managed by counseling or drug therapy.
