I've already finished a course of Valtrex and am on my 3rd week of recovery. I don't have symptoms any more and my scabs are starting to heal.

I would not recommend it. Wait until all the scabs are gone or at the very least wait six weeks from the last blister.

I'd feel you will have to be adequate. I wonder if the flu shot may just make you feel a wee bit unwell as shingles mainly are a response to a decreased immune procedure. When you've got been taking anti viral medicinal drugs for the shingles for 3 weeks and consider adequate, determine with your health care provider.
