That all depends on how much Washington really wants to get something done, or just more gridlock.....Notice Wall Street was thrilled with the election results? They are assuming nothing will get done in Washington and just more politics as usual....

It better not or there will probably be rioting in the streets. We tried amnesty in the 80s - didn't solve the problem. Why should anyone be rewarded for breaking the law?

"If an amnesty for illegals is passed and you vote for it, whenever acts of violence are committed in your district or state by illegals who benefit from amnesty, 9/11 FSA members will go to your district to inform your consitituents that your vote for amnesty allowed that crime to occur and that you are, in part, guilty for the injury done." Attention Illegals: The United States government has plans for you. Yes the amnesty program will take effect quite soon. There's a catch though. You'll have to serve 4 years in the military. They need an initial force to invade Iran. Tell your friends to come fight. Your bodies will pave the road to victory!!

if you are going to implement a viable 'guest worker program'; and in order to do it 'right'. all immigration legal and illegal must be stopped. allowing for those here to go back and get in line for the program. amnesty must NOT be allowed, or forget the 'guest worker' program it will never be a viable one and it will become a bureaucracy entrenched with corruption and no over site. the program needs to be able to handle the requests, educate those requesting in English, tax laws, health and hygiene, provide them with health shots and appropriate identification. this takes time to develop and you are looking at a five year time frame. it also takes money. this money should be a joint venture between the governments involved, which will most likely be Mexico and the US. otherwise no guest worker program won't work. it will be a scam on the US citizen. oh, we will get the shaft, you can figure that one..

but if it is going to be done it must be done right or forget it..SO NO AMNESTY

You missed it. There was a 2 month amnesty period. It is over with. Turn yourself in for deportation today - they will allow you to re-enter with a valid application. If they FIND you however, you will be charged with a Federal felony of staying illegally within the US and will NEVER be allowed back into the US.

I hope soon because there are over 11 million illegals in the US and they cnat continue this way as they are a threat to society in mnay ways. It is better to either legalize soem or all or deport soem or all and it aint humanly possible to find them all. Hell 11 million is a conservative estimate and I know peropel who have been living in the US illegally for over 23 years. Something has to eb done

Wait until they get close to election time. They do everything to collect votes. For that you are very important.
