Ah yes, there are lots of them here in the US, but here is my complaint! I am not one to judge someone by their waste size, but there comes a time when you have to draw the line, literally!! This morning while getting on the bus, two big bottom women sat next to me, one on my right and one on my left. Well, the one took up 1 1/2 seats and the other, yes, believe it or not, took up 1 1/2 seats also. So where does that leave me, yes, gasping for oxygen. I mean like one of them apologized, which was nice and all, but I'm thinking, if your butt doesn't fit in the seat girl, maybe you could stand, cause i don't enjoy being under two BB women on my way to work. It just isn't how I like to start my day! Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it's just common courtesy not to sit on top of people. What should you say to people who do this?? Am I bad?

You just made me laugh. Never mind your ordeal is now over, and as Freddy Mercury with Queen once sang - Fat Bottomed Girls You Make the Rockin' World Go Round! No mention in the song though of fat bottomed girls squashing some unsuspecting passenger on the bus. !! lol

People who are overweight might have more health problems including more of a problem standing up. Obesity is a health condition, not a moral failing. It may inconvenience you, but so might a person sitting next to you with a movement disorder such as Parkinson's Disease - if that person was moving and accidentally touched you, you wouldn't react with anger or think that person should be forced to stand or move away from people, right? Contrary to what you might think, not everyone who is obese is that way by choice. She may be trying to lose weight, she may have diabetes or a gland disorder, or she might just have a common failing called being human.

The fact that obese people take up more than one seat on a bus or plane is less the fault of the obese person, and more the fault of the greedy transit and airline companies who, in trying to shove as many fares as possible onto each trip, are completely unrealistic in sizing the seats in the first place. More than half of Americans do not fit into an average airline seat, and bus seats are similarly sized. Perhaps your beef is with them.

There are some men who would pay good money to be sat upon by two big women! Seriously though I would have to get up and change seats - standing if there were no other seats available. i would not comment out loud on their size though - that would just be rude, cruel and unnecessary - it's not as if they are unaware of their size. Not bad, just squashed.

You are such a FATist. I am a large women but have no difficulty in sitting in "MY OWN" bus/plane seat. Why should they be the one's to stand, you're the one with the problem about their weight. Many people are obese due to something beyond their control. All I can suggest to you is GET A LIFE and STOP MOANING !!!!!

I used to be a big bottomed girl myself and I was always embarrassed about sitting on the bus, especially here in the UK we just have 2 seats next to each other..... but I was always knackered from dragging a load of fat around with me and so I had to sit down!
Happily I'm a lot smaller now and I stick to my own seat these days = D

as uncourteous as it may seem to you, they may have problems with their ability to stand or other weight issues resulting from having a BB. When that happens to me, either I get up and stand or I just push back. it happens frequently and people dont realize it, but that is just the way this world is. not everyone is considerate towards other people, some people just care about themselves.

you're bad. while i think it's a shame that people are not able to control their weight better, it is not for us to judge, and you would be a better person if you were a bit more considerate of others.
