Bounces back and forth between this and the polotics section.

Funny thing is, I think it's all the same people.

Yes, but I agree with answerer above that the government/politics section gets pretty nasty sometimes too. Religion and politics, my grandmother said those were two topics to not discuss as a guest at dinner at anyone's house. I think that is why I am drawn here though. It is a fascinating opportunity to exchange viewpoints, I never get into these things so boldly with people in real life.

I agree 100% because believers are constantly put under a microscope and tested by those who don't believe. If Christians act contrary to their beliefs and Godly morals then they are attacked and seen as hypocritical which brings on contention and controversy. Sadly, division comes and some Christians are quick to judge other Christians instead coming to their side. This is exactly what Satan wants!

Shalom

No I dont think so. I think a forum where we can all share and debate our beliefs like this is amazing. Even if sometimes people are rude or scarey.....it is a awesome montage of humanity. These people here are PASSIONATE about it. Be u a believer non believer or somewhere in between. I can appreciate someone whom stands for something much more than someone whom stands for nothing.

I am a Christian, but its about Love right?

No, the Government and Politics section is far more contentious than this section.

hardly contentious i would say revalitory
jesus did say by thier deeds you will know them
and although this is only in word the words reveal the possable deed and thier possable end location,
i see many christians doing ,saying in words jesus would cry over ,jesus converted the sinner not by saying sinner but by forgiving knowing in gods time love conquers all ,that sinners especially needed to know god is love ,jesus brought many back to the father by revealing god to be fair above all ,to have grace ,that a mans fruits can be made sweet in gods time by gods way and that way wasnt by name calling or mans judgement but by gods grace alone

This is a place where people can ask questions, and hopefully gain knowledge through their reason and guidance from The Giver of life.
Sure, if you feel averse then sure you are of the misguided.
[050:016] And indeed We have created man, and We know what his own self whispers to him. And We are nearer to him than his jugular vein (by Our Knowledge).

[050:017] (Remember) that the two receivers (recording angels) receive (each human being), one sitting on the right and one on the left (to note his or her actions).

[050:018] Not a word does he (or she) utter but there is a watcher by him ready (to record it).

[050:019] And the stupor of death will come in truth: "This is what you have been avoiding!"

[050:020] And the Trumpet will be blown – that will be the Day whereof warning (had been given) (i.e. the Day of Resurrection).

[050:021] And every person will come forth along with an (angel) to drive (him) and an (angel) to bear witness.

[050:022] (It will be said to the sinners): "Indeed you were heedless of this. Now We have removed from you, your covering, and sharp is your sight this Day!"

[050:023] And his companion (angel) will say: "Here is (this Record) ready with me!"

[050:024] (Allâh will say to the angels:) "Both of you throw into Hell every stubborn disbeliever (in the Oneness of Allâh, in His Messengers) –

[050:025] "Hinderer of good, transgressor, doubter,

[050:026] "Who set up another ilâh (god) with Allâh. Then both of you cast him in the severe torment."

[050:027] His companion (Satan/devil) will say: "Our Lord! I did not push him to transgression (in disbelief, oppression, and evil deeds), but he was himself in error far astray."

[050:028] Allâh will say: "Dispute not in front of Me, I had already in advance sent you the threat.

[050:029] The Sentence that comes from Me cannot be changed, and I am not unjust to the slaves."

[050:030] On the Day when We will say to Hell: "Are you filled?" It will say: "Are there any more (to come)?"

[050:031] And Paradise will be brought near to the Muttaqûn (the pious. See V.2:2), not far off.

[050:032] (It will be said): "This is what you were promised – (it is) for those oft-returning (to Allâh) in sincere repentance, and those who preserve their covenant with Allâh (by obeying Him in all what He has ordered, and worshipping none but Allâh Alone, i.e. follow Allâh's religion – Islâmic Monotheism).

[050:033] "Who feared the Most Gracious (Allâh) in the Ghaib (unseen) and came with a heart turned in repentance (to Him and absolutely free from every kind of polytheism).

[050:034] "Enter you therein in peace and security – this is the Day of eternal life!"

[050:035] There they will have all that they desire – and We have more (for them, i.e. a glance at the All-Mighty, All-Majestic ['Azza wa Jall]).
