My fiance took me up on top of a mountain range in our town when the leaves had turned colors for the fall, the sun was setting, and the moon was full. We could look out for miles and miles and he said that the feeling you get when you are on top of the world is the feeling that he had when he was with me and he got on one knee and proposed.

i lvoe the ring in the food idea. but thats a little over used.

an amazing thign to do would be do take the girl somewhere simple. [sunday afternoon in the park, a picnic, the beach etc.] then tell her you love her and want to spnd the rest of ur life together. and give her the ring in somethign special to the both of you. [liek something that represents the two of you, or an inside joke like thing you shared. it can be anything. a teddy bear, in the center of a certain flower, in an envelope with an old love letter. ] be creative.

im sure ull think of soemthing original on your own.
good luck, and best wishes.

I was feeling pretty down in the dumps and my fiance could tell. So, for about a week, he would do something extra special or give me a little something. One day, he washed/dryed/folded all of my dirty laundry (I usually do all of the laundry), the next day he took me out to dinner to the restaurant we went to on our first date, etc. You get the picture. Then, at the end of the week, I received a bouquet of 12 roses at work. 11 real, 1 fake (which I didn't notice until later). Attached was a card that mentioned how he hoped I had cheered up and what not, yadda yadda yadda. Then, as soon as I said "Awwwwww", my fiance walked in, stopped right in front of me, and told me, "The day the last rose dies is the day I will stop loving you". Then he proceeded to ask me to marry him, and of course I said yes.

Everything leading up to the proposal showed me that he cared about how I felt and that he would do anything he could to cheer me up, even something as simple as doing my laundry. That meant alot to me.

However, I think the best one I've heard and it might be a little Pretty-woman-ish, but the guy dressed up as a knight with all the armor and rode up to her doorstep on a white horse. Awwe...

Well, I was at work, and i know my wife's favorite radio station, and when she listens to particular shows. I called up the radio station to see if they would let me propose to my wife on air. Of course they agreed, for PR....now, we live in a fairly small town, and when we came on air, she thought she was a contestant to win a new car, Instead, I proposed to her on air.....she said yes of course, but the whole town was calling her like 24/7 congratulating her.....she cried happy tears for a couple of days over that, and now, we are still happily married, and she will never forget how I proposed to her.

My husband and I are HUGE baseball fans! When we were dating he flew me to Chicago for a weekend getaway. We attended a Chicago White Sox game where he asked me to marry him on the giant scoreboard screen! It was very sweet, creative, unique and meaningful taking into consideration our love of baseball! For our 10th anniversary, we took a trip back to Chicago where he told me Happy Anniversary on the scoreboard at Wrigley Field - the home of the Chicago Cubs!
