Satanists believe that:
Satan blessed mankind with the "forbidden" fruit of knowledge of good and evil. From this perspective, knowing good is a good thing, but knowing evil is even better, for someone who knows and recognizes evil is better-armed and equipped to fight evil. It is for this reason that Satanists perceive Satan not as a Force of evil but rather a Force of good. Other devil worshippers though reject this idea, and see themselves as enemies of "Good" and servants of "Evil" in the name of Satan, who they see as the God of all that is Evil.

I've met people from several different branches of Satanism, but most practitioners I've met are aligned with the Church of Satan. For more about this group's beliefs, look at the official Church of Satan website:

Try clicking on "Theory-Practice" bar on the left-hand side of the page.

satanic people is a concept of christianity, which relies on the bible. Good people do bad things, bad people do good things.
And just because someone might be a christian doesn't make them any better a person or impurvious from doing things that some might seem bad ,evil or sinful (a lot of that comes down to perspective)
just another way for religion to spread fear, hate and bigotry.

I really think you should differentiate between "satanic people" and "Satan worshippers"
...for example, I am evil, but I don't worship Satan. Who knew.

I hav had clients who claimed to be satanists. They say that they are to give him power. Our Christan God gives us power. Big difference. Satanists live for chaos. Christians live for God's kingdom. Numbers 6:24
