ok, i really like this guy, harold. i know he likes me. im in middle school, and today my 2 bff's told him, and then he said it was 50 50 chance if he was going to ask me out. then at the end of the day, he said he wasnt. but i know he likes me. so what is his deal, and what should i do? i dont want to deal with rumors at school.

ok it's too early for you to be worring about rumors!!!! plus they will be everywhere about you or friends or anyone so get used to it
but with the guy...........forget him if he said he isn't gonna ask you out then he's scared and you shouldn't deserve a wimp.

Just focus on friends and enjoying your family. Yeah it's a boring answer but you're too young to really deal with boy issues. Who cares if he doesn't really like you now. I promise you you won't even like him when you're in your 20's. When you're in your 20's you'll still love your family and still be interested in some of your friends. However, you'll probably lose contact or lose interest in most of the friends you have now when you're in your 20's.
Sure talk to your friends about who is hot. Buy Teen Bop and compair the boys at school with the ones in the magazine. Talk about why one is better than the other and talk about which boy at school is like the boy in the magazine.

He will ask you when he is ready, tell your friends to back off. Whatever happens is between him and you, not you, your friends and the school.
