I am very against abortions. I don't they should be allowed for any reason what so ever, even if she is raped or somethign could be wrong with the baby, cause she can always put it up for adoption and let the child live its life instead of being a muderer. And abortion stops a beating a heart, it kills a baby that is just beginning its life. If you do a search on google or yahoo you will find information about it. And I did a report a few years back and a lot of doctors quit because they were killing people instead of saving there lives and started feeling bad for murdering an inisent life.
Hope I helped. And good luck with the paper!
If you have any questions about what i said you can email me at taytayjomar89@yahoo.com or IM me taytayjomar89..
Good Luck! Later! :)
P.S. I just read someones comment and I think it should be talked about in schools, students need to know what goes on in this world and have a right to their opinion about things, especially something that cruel.

I'm pro-choice. It should be up to the woman to decide. I bet most of the people who are against it have never been in a situation where they have needed to make this decision (This does not include people with planned pregnancies or people in long term relationships. At that point in your life you can probably handle a baby.). You never know until you walk a mile in someone else’s shoes.
I personally have never had to make this decision, but I can see where someone would. In fact if I had gotten pregnant before I was 23 I probably would have had one. It was not in the point in my life where a child would fit into it. And I know some people out there would say you should go through with the pregnancy and give the baby up for an adoption. With some people this is not a viable solution. I also know that adoption is a wonderful thing and many people are looking to adopt a little baby. But has anyone ever bothered to really look around there are already several unwanted children in this world with no one to adopt them. And even more poor people strapped down with unwanted children and children who are mistreated every day.
Now I'm also saying that birth control should not constantly be used as a method of birth control. But we all know accidents happen (including sometime when you are on birth control pills). Or someone is raped or being molested by a family member. Or maybe the mother's life is in danger.
Example, when someone has an ectopic (tubal) pregnancy the baby is technically being aborted. Are all of the pro-lifers out there saying we should just let it be as this is nature and we should just let the mother die???
Anyways, you should be able to find lots of information on this subject across the web. But let me give you this one warning a lot of time pro-lifers will use picture of supposedly aborted babies. The majority of the time these are not fetuses that have been aborted before the first three months. If the baby has hair, etc...It is most likely a full term baby that was still born and doctored up to look like it was aborted. Trust me I have friends who are doctors and know these things. Most uneducated people probably won't notice this.
When looking into abortion you will also notice people views tend to differ on how much education they have had (high school education vs. college graduate) and their current economic situation (i.e. upper class/middle class vs. lower class).
Good luck on your report! This is certainly a very heated topic and most people feel very passionately about their own personal take on it.

It should be allowed, but for a twist on your paper write it from the perspective of someone about to and having it done and the emotions they go through. Leave it up to the reader to decide whether it is wrong or right.

I think it should be allowed, but not as a method of birth control. Extenuating circumstances only, like rape and incest, or if the baby is going to be born with something horrible problem that will probably cause death anyway. Like I said, absolutely NOT as a convenient form of birth control.
I also read that post about it not be taught about in school-- I disagree with that, school is where you learn ALOT of important things- factual stuff as well as life lessons. How else are we supposed to make educated decisions?

I believe that it should be allowed. I also believe that conception starts life. I think women have aportions for many reason, not all lagitimate, but reason enough that they choose not to continue a life that may be filled with tourment.
The best part about this county is that you have rights, even if not everyone in the country thinks these rights should be honored. Bless the USA!

It should absolutely be allowed! It should remain safe, private and legal and the government and the religious groups need to butt out. It should remain an individual choice that each woman needs to make on her own. In the end, she is the one who will have to live with it. I've never had an abortion and I doubt I could ever go through with it, but I'd prefer that choice to be mine, not that of a government that can't even properly fund its schools or provide adequate, affordable health-care for the average family.

I am adopted so that makes me pro-life based on the fact that if my birth mother had made the choice to abort me I would not exist and I personally think that is pretty sucky- I happen to really love my life. Adoption is such a wonderful opportunity- both for the mother who does not feel she can keep her child and for the people who want children in their lives because they feel like they can provide for a child.

thank you for asking
NO it should not be allowed. Abortion is a word that has lost ALL of its real meaning in society.
here are some examples of abortion procedures:
RU486,(the abortion pill) dehydrates the baby until it is dead and then is expelled from the uterus like in a miscarriage
Suction Aspiration: to 12th week of gestation: A suction curette ( a tube with a knife like end) is inserted into the cervix and a vacuum is used (29 times more powerful than a household vacuum) to tear the baby and the placenta apart, sucked into a jar where the remains of the child are laid on a blue cloth and pieced back together to make sure ALL of the child has been destroyed and removed
D & C: pretty much the same as above except the child is actually sliced and diced with a loop shaped knife
D & E: to 18th week of pregnancy: a pair of forceps with teeth like grippers are inserted into the womb and used to grab extremeties like an arm or leg and then the abortionist twists until he feels the pop, then he knows he has torn off the leg or whatever, grabbing and twisting and pulling out parts of a human and laying them on a table until all of the child has been destroyed, this is repeated until he gets to the head, the head needs to be crushed, gray fluid runs through and then he knows he has crushed the skull because that was the childs brains, also when dismembering a child the abortionist must snap the spine to get the torso removed, then the placenta is removed and the uterus is suctioned out
Salt Poisoning: very rarely used but is still used after the 4th month when their is enough fluid in the child to make it effective, A long needle is inserted into the sac holding the baby, the child inhales the fluid being injected, the fluid acts like a corrosive burning the baby alive inside and out, this is sort of the same effect you get if you pour salt on a slug, it usually takes an hour for this child to actually die, suffering burning alive for an hour, BUT, after 24 hours the mother gives birth to a dead baby OR a dying baby, if born alive and dying it is usually left unattended to die in a "comfort room" which means lying on a towell on top of a filing cabinet or whatnot, OR sometimes it is taken care of and adopted out, with a slew of health problems and difficulties, the mother ususally feels her child writhing about inside of her trying pathetically to escape the torture it is enduring in the name of "a womans right to choose"
Prostoglandin Chemical Abortion: popular for the 6th month on, a chemical is used to start contractions, the living child which is being pushed out by violent contractions is killed by them sometimes decapitated
Partial Birth Abortion: 6th month til full term UP TO AND INCLUDING the moment before actual birth: guided by ultrasound, the abortionist grabs the ankles of the baby pulling it through the birth canal, all of the baby is delivered except for the head, the child is slippery and grabbing and kicking from natural insinct so a nurse must assist, the abortionist uses metzenbaum scissors to puncture the base of the babies skull, once the scissors have been jammed in an opening is created THE CHILD IS STILL ALIVE AT THIS POINT now a catheter is inserted into the opening and is used to suction out the childs brains, a dead baby is then fully delivered
now we go to "reasons abortion should be legal"
rape & incest: only .002% of ALL abortions are for rape/incest NON ISSUE...and is it fair for a child to pay for the crime of its father? the death penalty no less
health of the mother: can a living child be delivered rather than a dead one and threaten the health of the mother? maybe like 7 out of every 4,000 abortions have been LEGITIMATELY to save the life of the mother, and the law is very vague, a woman can claim mental anguish over the thought of raising twins and decide to abort them 7 months pregnant OR even abort just ONE! THAT is considered under the lines of health of the mother
97.5 % of all abortions, through all 9 months of pregnancy are for PURELY ELECTIVE reasons
child being born with anomalites, heart disease, downs: who are we to decide WHO is fit to LIVE? is this Nazi Germany?

Does your paper have to include both sides? If not, look into your heart and decide which side you want to write about. Murder or convenient birth control.
