I have a job interview and I want to feel relaxed and not act all nervous. I'm not an expert but I'm assuming that 2 drinks are not going to get me over the limit.

Um no matter what people say you can still smell Vodka on someones breath. Gum only helps temporarily. Even Clove gum!
AND technically NO its considered driving under the influence in most places....they keep changing the laws so it takes less and less to be considered impaired.

Take a few deep breaths before you go in to be interviewed think happy/posotive thoughts pay attention , speak clearly and slowly.
Youll be fine Good Luck I hope you get the job.

Well, that all depends on your tolerance, how long it's been since you eaten, etc. More than likely, if you take the two shots back to back, then walk out the door immediately, you'll get there before it's disolved completely into your system. That's only if it's a short drive. I wouldn't recommend that as a way to relax before an interview though.

No it is not safe and the smell of vodka will be on your breath during the interview as well. Go to the interview and then go somewhere and take your two shots.

Yeah, it you'd like to have an accident with your impaired judgement, not to mention have your future boss smelling the vodka on your breath when your face to face in the interview! I thought this was a joke at first- if you're not an expert, why chance it and show up drunk to your interview?!?

Yes, it is safe to take 2 shots of Vodka before driving somewhere, just make sure you are in the passenger seat.

could put you over the legal limit if you drive right away. and why on earth would you want to drink two shots before an interview? try a hot shower, a good night's sleep, and a good breakfast before you drink before you meet a potential boss.

I would say not. Take only one shot and wait a few minutes for it to kick in before deciding you're okay to drive.

I actually think it's okay for you to do this as long as 1) the shot doesn't knock you on your *** and 2) you brush your teeth! But, maybe you should take a taxi to be safe.

Never go to a job interview with liquor in your system. Drug test!! And the myth about that you can't smell vodka on someone's breath is bullshit. Not to mention DUI!!!

I wouldn't take the chance, on either driving or going to the interview. Save it for afterwards
