Hi Muneca. YOU ARE NOT CRAZY!!!. You are an incredible human being that is going through a rough time!. It is amazing what you have done by struggling with bipolar and BPD all this years!. You are not alone. There is thousands of people going through the same thing all over the world. This illnesses are caused by an unbalance in the brain. The spiritual explanation is that you have a spirit attached to your aura. When you rule you feel happy, when the spirit rules you feel really down. It is very important that you find a little support by a GOOD shrink. It is also important that you find a medicine that covers your needs. (everyone respond different to medications). I am sure you will keep going and get through this bad moment. It will just take a little effort. I suffer from depression and anxiety. Although they are different illnesses it cause is the same: unbalance in brain neurotrasmiters. Forget the word crazy!. Create your own reality: think positive!. Adriana

Writing can help. Get the craziness down on paper - it gets it out of your head, and you might be pleased with what you end up with. Many people with BPD are creative and intelligent - you could enjoy the writing for the activity but also end up crafting some prose, poetry, letters, essays, etc. that are really good. Worth a try.

i was diagnosed three times by three different people with borderline personality disorder in the early 90's.... i went through dialectical behavioral therapy in 1999 and a little bit of the year 2000...and it has practically cured me from all my borderline symptoms... i think i have 4 out of the 9 now versus all 9.. so now techinically i am not even diagnosed with BPD....
dialectical behavioral therapy was the only thing that helped me... traditional therapy did not and sometimes made me worse.... (due to the therapist hating borderlines, etc)....
dialectical behavioral therapy was created by Marsha Linehan.... if you google her name you will find her homepage... you can actually call her and find out if there is a DBT therapist in your area......
i still have PTSD and schizoaffective disorder so life is still hard but at least i don't cut anymore and rarely hurt myself anymore at all (like emotionally, verbally that sort of thing)
good luck to you.....

I co-moderate an email support group for people with bipolar & borderline on yahoogroups.com
There is a LOT of mail, but if you enjoy that kind of thing, it is a wonderful place to find support and information and people that totally understand.

This is a very good blog, a beginner’s guide to abnormal psychology.
Short, clear and simple; and you can even post your question and contact the author regarding particular subject you are interested in
